She asked me to remove the mold and I only cut the drywall by inches I was not hired to stop the leaking in the basement I told her she needed a sump pump I could not find the source for the water entering the basement The mold would never stop unless the source of the water was stopped I did not do the upstairs bathroom since the issues in the basement She did not think it was necessary to have a contract When you remove mold, it is more than $ I even used drylock which was more but I did not charge her I do not feel that she is due a refund since I did not even charge her the actual price it cost me to clean and remove the mold I will consider a refund but it will not be for $but after I review the hours worked, materials, and labor, I will have an idea of what might be considered an equitable settlement for this complaint I will contact the Revdex.com and her by 9/23/to make an offer of a refund

I had no clue what was involved in mold removal. I bought the materials. Because he's the contractor I relied upon his expertise. He never offered a sump pump. He DID find the source of the leak. He VOLUNTEERED to buy Drylock at hardware store's recommendation. I did not ask for a contract as he is a fellow church member. The estimate of $1,100 was for BOTH the mold removal and refinishing my bathroom. I am owed more than $1,100 for refund as I will have to replace the purchased materials. He damaged my walls and floors with bleach. The craftsmanship on the drywall was horrible. We DID discuss a refund. He refuses to give the refund. He did not refinish my bathroom. We agreed upon $325 for the mold removal.

She asked me to remove the mold and I only cut the drywall by 24 inches.  I was not hired to stop the leaking in the basement.  I told her she needed a sump pump.  I could not find the source for the water entering the basement.  The mold would never stop unless the source of the...

water was stopped.  I did not do the upstairs bathroom since the issues in the basement.  She did not think it was necessary to have a contract.  When you remove mold, it is more than $1100.  I even used drylock which was more but I did not charge her.  I do not feel that she is due a refund since I did not even charge her the actual price it cost me to clean and remove the mold.  I will consider a refund but it will not be for $1100 but after I review the hours worked, materials, and labor, I will have an idea of what might be considered an equitable settlement for this complaint.  I will contact the Revdex.com and her by 9/23/2016 to make an offer of a refund.
