Re: ID# [redacted]
Dear Ms. [redacted],
We did agree to the settlement amount between Keystone RV and Colton in the amount of $1627.12. We did not agree with the finding. It took us almost a year and constant phone calls to reach this settlement. We did not over load our camper as stated in the letter. A mechanic looked at the axle and in his opinion the springs were welded on upside down. I am not pursuing the issue. I just wanted this noted. I appreciate the communication and follow up from Revdex.com.
Respectfully,[redacted]

We did receive the tool for the tires.  So that is one of many problems settled.  As far as the protectant is concerned, we will will not accept them saying it's been done.  We've been lied to before. Three people told us that they would have to check it. We have no paperwork with the date on it. There are now some dirty spots on the trailer that cannot be scrubbed.
We do not have any appointment scheduled as they implied  How about the tape underneath where the protection was not completed?  How about the electrical outlet? How about the leaky bathtub faucet?  How about the scratches on the bedroom door?  And now, after our last camping trip, the big electrical cable broke open because it was installed to drag on the road. And we have two Windows that won't open.
The only resolution so far is the tool for three TRYON.

We reject this response because that paper that they sent a copy of was signed with the business manager before we had done our final walk-through of the trailer.  When we asked the man who was doing that with us if it had been done, he said he didn't know but we could find out from the service manager.  We asked Jeff Powell and he said he didn't know but would check on it.  We also asked him about the outer sealant that was supposed to be done and he said he would have to check on that too.  We know for sure that the TYRONS were not done before we picked it up, and we had to fight to have those done.  We still don't have the special tool we need for that.  As the problem went on and on through the summer, I talked to Glenn and Benoy at the N. Tonawanda store and they said they would check into seeing if both things had been done, but we never heard anything back from them.  We don't trust them now and want a refund for both things.Thank you,[redacted]

Customer is asking for full reimbursement of $ 2440.69
Complaint : axles too small for trailer
Problem : axles bent
We have contacted the factory for assistance.
The factory requested photos . we sent our road call tech down to Pennsylvania at their home and took the necessary pictures
The factory  and axle manufacturer ,based on these pictures said the trailer was over loaded and warranty was denied .however we did get the factory to give us a goodwill adjustment
They agreed to a 1/3 factory 1/3 Colton RV and 1/3 customer participation .
We contacted [redacted] and he agreed to the goodwill settlement
We have since sent out a check to [redacted] in the amount of $ 1627.12

This motor home was purchased on July 15 and the paperwork was not taken to the Albany DMV until Oct 16, 90 days later. If this had been done right away perhaps we would have this issue resolved by now. As it is we are not going to be able to drive our motor home to Arizona as planned because at this point it is not legal to drive. The attorney generals office will be contacted. Regards,[redacted]

We are very unhappy with the customer service at Colton RV. Have been a customer since 2012 when we purchased a brand new camper, had good service then. We upgraded in 2014 with another brand new camper. The camper went in for warranty work after 2nd camping trip (stainless steel kitchen sink cracked - no misuse & motor on the awning was replaced), they kept the camper for 3 months (we demanded they deliver it to us because our truck is off the road in the winter). In the 3 months they had the camper, we left numerous messages and even appeared in person. Unanswered phone calls and no return calls. The camper was at the off site storage lot when we appeared to retrieve items that were in the camper. They didn't address one of our concerns. We said the gauge inside shows full battery, but the battery was dead. They load tested the battery and said the battery was good, yeah we know that...the gauge inside is broken. Then when we opened it up this season, noticed a broken plastic piece that holds the cables on the slide out, we called, they told us they would order the part and call us when it's in, that was 3 months ago and we've left 2 voice mails. Our second camping trip, we had a water leak. Left a message with the receptionist (Sunday evening), she said someone would call Monday Morning, NOTHING. Even called Keystone - the manufacturer, they waited until 4pm the next day and got our voice mail. We were so mad, we didn't bother to call them back. It's been almost 2 weeks since the message about the water leak, no return call. Luckialy my husband is very handy and can fix just about anything. The resolution to this problem for u is...WE WILL NEVER DEAL WITH COLTON RV AGAIN.

We have ordered the required part to repair the customer's travel trailer.  This part is ordered from the manufacturer of the awning and shipped to our dealership.  Once the part arrives, we will be making a road call to install the part.
A message was left with the customer...

this morning, Sept. 29, 2016, stating as much.
