Colt's Neck Inn Hotel

Review: I booked a block of rooms, sometime prior to Valentine's 2014, for the weekend of my wedding, 9/20/2014 at the Colt's Neck Inn hotel, Colts Neck NJ. Just 2 weeks ago, I was informed by a guest attending my wedding, that when she called to book, she was told I didn't have a block available and that it was cancelled. I called immediately and was told to call the next day. I did. The manager, [redacted], told me various stories about my reservation and the attempts at calling me. Later in the week, she went as far as to say that her boss, the owner [redacted]., called me and that I called him back and he spoke with me! Which, I can assure you, NEVER happened. I have been wanting to speak with the owner desperately, as I believe he owes me an apology and should extend something my way, even if it is just an apology. At this point, I am having great difficulty locating a hotel that will give me a block of rooms; being told that it is a bit too late to attempt to block off so many rooms. I am left feeling frustrated, annoyed, and disgusted. The reason my reservation was cancelled??… someone else came in and "guaranteed" the entire hotel for the entire weekend. Terrible sense of business.Desired Settlement: The owner should call me and apologize and offer to help locate another hotel that would accommodate my guests and myself.
