We received a 3 way phone call today from a [redacted] with [redacted] and [redacted]. He wanted me to delete a true collection action that is paid in full. I stated that though we have the ability to remove accounts from people's file, we can only do that in case of an error. Our agreement...

with the credit bureau's states that if caught removing true collect actions from consumer's files, we could lose our ability to report all together. Our company policy is to follow this. Both [redacted] and [redacted] could not get past this. Our contract with the credit bureau's is private and in no way going to be shared with anyone. We are aware other agencies do this, but they are not supposed to. [redacted] would still not let it go. After over 10 minutes of going back and forth, I felt we were not getting anywhere, so I told them to have a nice day and ended the call.

The only possible match for this person was forwarded to an agency called Account Control 10-14-13 for $270.92. Because it was forwarded, we could not have taken any legal action. This account was paid in full by Account Control on 3-27-16 for the same amount. They may have taken legal action, but...
