Review: I recieved a bill from my foot Dr that I wasn't sure of all the charges I called left a message and no one returned my call for four days. Mon 11-11-13 I reicived a call from the office and when I started to ask about my cahrges and what they were for she was very cross with her tone and spoke to me like I was beneath her. She told me I should no my insurance she would'nt even hear me out or listen to my questions I had concerning certain charges that were on my billing statment. She then told me I was yelling at her when I was not. I said mam I am not yelling I may sound loud I have a voice that is loud and carry's. I can't belieave this women said to me this is veteran day and she didnt need this I told her mam yes it is and my father died in vetienam so what dose this have to do with my bill and she stated I will just send you to collections. I wanted to make payment arrangements I have always paid them in full I dont know why she was treating me so poorly. I then called back and asked to speak with a manager and low and behold it was the same lady I talked with earlier. I tryed to set up a payment arrangement and she was still rude and cross so I hung up. The office manager called me back from a blocked number this time and said very rudely that I could only pay 40 a month and if I didnt like that she would gladly send me to collections like she was ha ha take that. I would like to resolve this in a proffesional manner and I feel I have ever right to have any charges maid on my statment explaned to me. thank you for your time.Desired Settlement: I would like to be treated with respect and would like a clear response on my cahrges when I was clear about did my insurance cover the rest do I owe anything else at each visit and they said no then wham a 466.42 bill with a code that has no explanation of what it is. My feet are in the same condition as when I first started going.

This is in response to the letter received today, November 14,2013. First I'm sorry to hear that [redacted] is so upset.

All I can say is that I tried to tell her what her insurance paid and didn't pay. All her visits and injections went to her deductible. On her statement (which I will be faxing with her explanation of payment from her insurance) I had put down that this is part of your deductible. I have no control over what insurance pays or does not pay. We don't know what goes to her deductible or what doesn't. She have been having care from us since 2/28/2013 and the charges have all gone to her deductible. As for her phone call, she called on Friday afternoon and we are closed in the afternoons on Friday. We have an answering machine and the first thing in the morning we listen to it. She sounded upset when she called and I thought I better call her and find out what was wrong. I did and she was angry . I tried to tell her that I only do what the insurance tells me to do. I have no control over that and that it is the patients responsibility to know their policy. [redacted] told me she would only pay $10.00 a month and that was all and hung up on me. I called [redacted] in the Tri-Cities and asked them about the $10.00 a month because it would have taken her 46 months to pay off her balance . I was told that even the [redacted] doesn't take anything under $50.00. I called back [redacted] and told her that we would make payment arrangements of $40.00 a month and she told me to send her to collections because she wasn't going to pay that.

I wanted to respond to said complaint on June 12, 2013 by patient account #768156. The charges ($30.00) were levied in error and were dismissed prior to relieving your written complaint.
