The manager was very courteous and apologeticHe did not make any excuses, instead shared his action plan to rectify the situation in a way that will protect us from harm

The following part of Columbia Honda response is not correct"After the repair Mr*** and I drove the Pilot and verified the wind noise was repaired and that he was satisfied with our results." I never said I was satisfied with their repairThe windshield noise is still more than we experienced with the Pilot we traded inI merely told the service manager I had no confidence that the dealer would do as we had requestedCustomer satisfaction was never part of the dealer's plan

This business has the nerve to advertise a three day love it or leave it policy. We still experience what we consider higher windshield noise than should be expected. This vehicle was advertised as more quiet than the 2014 Pilot we traded in but that is not the case. I guess we will have to drive with the radio on to cover up the noise. We obviously are upset that we were forced to keep a defective vehicle that we recognized within the first 30 minutes of driving at highway speeds. We expected the dealer to take it back and provide us with one without defects.

Regarding [redacted]'s 2016 Pilot I did personally work with Mr. [redacted] on this issue. Upon delivery of his new Pilot he returned to the dealership complaining of a loud wind rush noise at higher speeds. We rode with Mr. [redacted] to confirm what he was hearing at that time and scheduled an...

appointment. When we were able to diagnose the vehicle we found there to be a 2 inch gap in the sealer on the left side of the windshield we had our glass company seal this gap. I then followed up with Mr. [redacted] and he expressed concern that there may be other inconsistencies in the windshield sealing, we then had the glass company back to remove the windshield and do a total reseal. After the repair Mr. [redacted] and I drove the Pilot and verified the wind noise was repaired and that he was satisfied with our results. He was frustrated that when he had asked the sales department to put him into another new Pilot and take this one back, he was told that his needed to be have an attempt to repair under the warranty first. We felt we were able to address the concern and fix the noise.
