I was called in by the landlord ( [redacted] and company) to install flooring in a dog bath Upon inspection, the tenant had sectioned off a corner in the back room around a floor drain with 2xboards to use as a dog bath The water had ruined the floor tile and was seeping into the walls and surrounding areas I told the landlord and tenant that about the only fix at this point was to install mosaic floor tile inside the bath area and try to get the water to move towards the drain If a water proof enclosure was desired, that could have run into the thousands of dollars to build I quoted $300-$for what I described We performed the work as stated The tenant then called about a problem with the water leaving the designated area They are closed on Sunday and Monday, so I had a technician scheduled to caulk around the perimeter and take care of the drain cover issue I received the Revdex.com notice on Nov and called the landlord for direction I went out to inspect the same afternoon and took care of the drain cover issue The landlord has hired a general contractor to fully take care of the problems that the tenant has I have credited the amount of the invoice ($353.75) and apologized to the tenant for the miscommunication
