I represent the subject of the above-referenced complaint and have just received your letter dated December 12, In that letter, you referenced an earlier complaint and a small claims matter regarding billing and referral procedures for a patient, but we did not receive notice of either prior to today.Patient care and satisfaction are very important to us, and we value patient feedbackAccordingly, we are investigating the complaint, but require more information and more time in order to appropriately respondPlease re-send us the original complaint and any additional details that are availableWe will continue to investigate and respond more fully as soon as possible.However, due to HIPAA regulations, we cannot divulge any protected health information regarding a patient to a third party, such as the Revdex.com, without authorization from the patientAccordingly, our ability to respond is limited, as we must protect patient privacy

They are liars! I complained to Anthem Blue Cross/ Blue shield and they sent the business notificationI complained to Legacy Health and they talked to Karen and instructed them on the proper procedure to do a retro referral submissionI also sent them a letter "of intent to file a law suit" Over a month agoI called and spoke to "Toni" several months ago and I also talked to "Karen" on the phone and told her I intended to file a lawsuitI also filed a complaint with the Oregon Medical Board against themFor them to deny that they knew nothing about this is the lowest of the lowI will be filing a small claims action in January, 2017.Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I represent the subject of the above-referenced complaint and have justreceived your letter dated December 21, 2016. In that letter, you providedadditional details from the complainant, clarifying the complaint history. Toclarify our earlier response, we are aware of the issues raised in the complaintand have been working for some time to attempt to resolve them. However,until your previous letter, we were not aware of the involvement of the BetterBusiness Bureau or Complaint ID No. [redacted]. We appreciate yourcorrespondence and having the opportunity to address the issues in thecomplaint. Patient care and satisfaction are very important to us.Accordingly, we are continuing to work to resolve the complaint.However, we have not received a release that would allow us to share anyprotected health information with a third party, such as the Revdex.com. Accordingly,our ability to respond remains limited. We plan to communicate directly withthe complainant to advise him of the status of the issues raised, and tocontinue to work with other third parties to address the problem.
