I am rejecting this response because: Complaint: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern:The rental house was left in great conditionI have several other willing to testify to thatThe maid should have taken pictures if she had reason to complainThe house did not have smoke detectors, I made a note of this in a review and she commented on fixing the issuesAs I noted in my previous response, there was no cause to take the $deposit and no proof to as wellI would not leave someone's house, who did us a favor, in anything less than great conditionIf the maid did not charge you extra for her cleaning then why was my deposit not returned? If someone spent extra time cleaning, wouldn't they want to be compensated accordingly? Also, wouldn't they take pictures of the 'mess'?

Mr [redacted] ,I’m writing to dispute a claim filed against our property at [redacted] We recently rented our home to [redacted] who expressed that he also owns property in our development, and had family coming in town but needed additional room Out of professional courtesy for a fellow home owner, we rented our house to him at a discounted rate and made an exception to our day rental minimum and allowed his family to stay for only nights Upon their departure, we found a decorative item missing, dishes unwashed in the dishwasher, and food remnants on countertops, floors and walls Our cleaner worked overtime with an additional person to get the house cleaned for our next guests Although nothing was broken, and the level of “clean” is very subjective, the house had such a strong odor of curry that our cleaner washed walls and cabinets to get the smell out of the home One of the comforters in the bunk room had to be removed and cleaned due to a yellow syrup spilled all over it, although there were no guests in that room Mr [redacted] has claimed that someone must have broken in upon their departure and left the house in this condition Unfortunately for him we have family in the area that checks on the house and there was in fact no one there after his departure He also made a public review online that we were victims of a “cleaning scam” where the cleaner charges more and pockets the additional money This was NOT the case Our cleaner did not charge us additional for her extra work It is true that she failed to get photos likely because she was working overtime to get the house cleaned for our next guests Because I have no proof via photos, I offered to pay Mr [redacted] 50% of his damage deposit back, but he declined He also claims that there are no smoke detectors in the home, which is not true Lastly, Mr [redacted] states that we are not registered with the State of Florida, which is invalid He has our name wrong We are incorporated as an LLC in the State of Ohio, and are registered with State of Florida to collect and pay sales and transient taxes Please let me know if you have any questions at all, and thank you for your time and consideration in reviewing our dispute.Ashley V.KEYSTONEProperties | Heating & Cooling | Investments [redacted] www.columbuskeystone.com www.keystone-hc.com

Mr. [redacted],I’m writing to dispute a claim filed against our property at [redacted]  We recently rented our home to [redacted] who expressed that he also owns property in our development, and had family coming in town but needed additional room....

Out of professional courtesy for a fellow home owner, we rented our house to him at a discounted rate and made an exception to our 7 day rental minimum and allowed his family to stay for only 4 nights.  Upon their departure, we found a decorative item missing, dishes unwashed in the dishwasher, and food remnants on countertops, floors and walls.  Our cleaner worked overtime with an additional person to get the house cleaned for our next guests.  Although nothing was broken, and the level of “clean” is very subjective, the house had such a strong odor of curry that our cleaner washed walls and cabinets to get the smell out of the home.  One of the comforters in the bunk room had to be removed and cleaned due to a yellow syrup spilled all over it, although there were no guests in that room.  Mr. [redacted] has claimed that someone must have broken in upon their departure and left the house in this condition.  Unfortunately for him we have family in the area that checks on the house and there was in fact no one there after his departure.  He also made a public review online that we were victims of a “cleaning scam” where the cleaner charges more and pockets the additional money.  This was NOT the case.  Our cleaner did not charge us additional for her extra work.  It is true that she failed to get photos likely because she was working overtime to get the house cleaned for our next guests.  Because I have no proof via photos, I offered to pay Mr. [redacted] 50% of his damage deposit back, but he declined.  He also claims that there are no smoke detectors in the home, which is not true.  Lastly, Mr. [redacted] states that we are not registered with the State of Florida, which is invalid.  He has our name wrong.  We are incorporated as an LLC in the State of Ohio, and are registered with State of Florida to collect and pay sales and transient taxes.  Please let me know if you have any questions at all, and thank you for your time and consideration in reviewing our dispute.Ashley V.KEYSTONEProperties | Heating & Cooling | Investments [redacted]www.columbuskeystone.com www.keystone-hc.com
