Columbus Real Estate Pros Reviews (329)

Real Estate Pros (Property Management Pros) were contracted to manage my rental property We terminated the contract with them by way of mutual release that was signed by all parties in August of Per the agreement Real Estate Pros was to turn the security deposit over to us Thus far they have not and after SEVERAL attempts to contact them, I am getting no communication back I'm finding that we are being treated much like others that have filed complaints

I understand the lease which I signed, not what I'm disputing! I also did try to contact my Operations Manager, an email was sent on 3/30/2017. I would have like to have received some sort of acknowledgement saying the matter was being looked at, however as in the past when trying to contact someone directly, it has been much of an hassle. Filing a complaint was my only resort to ensure that this matter be handled in a timely fashion. You surely can understand my desire to resolve this matter when you are WITHOUT ANY FORWARNING that you have over hundred dollars that is posted to your account stating that they are PAST DUE on the same day that they were posted on your account. As stated in my complaint THERE ARE NO WATER NOR SEWER BILLS ON OUR ACCOUNT for us to review. Reason for rejecting this, I will be more then happy to pay the outstanding amount IF YOU CAN PROVIDE ME WITH THE CORRECT backup( PROOF OF BILLS WITH PAST DUE AMOUNTS)

I am absolutely appalled to accused of such foolishness and nonsenseI would never, nor have I EVER sent anything to the owner of my condo or anyone that is fraudulentI have attached a few of the documents so that it is much more clearAs you can see from the emails, these are screenshots not a word document, therefore I cannot edit anything on themI would never break the lawAs you read the emails, you can see where I have tried to resolve this matter for monthsEven in May when all the late fees first started, I offered to pay the $and all late fees if someone could unlock my online account because I was out of stateOf course, nobody respondedbut made sure to keep tacking those late fees on daily! I spoke with Susan in person upon my return, she assured me that this would be resolved if I paid the $So I did the very next dayGuess what? NO RESPONSE AGAIN! Real Estate Pros is trying to charge me over $in late fees over $that they did not bill me for in for waterWould you pay something on your account with no explanation what it is? As of today, I owe $for two water billsWhich by the way, a May water bill was just placed on my account weeks ago along with JuneNow I suddenly owe a trash can violation of $(I find this hard to believe and have no been provided with the proof I'm supposed to for this as well) I will pay the $for two water bills, and I'll even pay the $for the "violation of trash can"But I will not pay you over $in late fees for $that was not billed to me for October - December 2015, and then placed on my account in February Also, from the looks of your F rating, I think I am the least of your worries on "making your business look bad!" You have over complaints on your billing issues aloneClearly I am not the only one who experiences such unprofessionalismSo it sounds like I should seek legal council myself since you are threatening and making allegations against meClear my account except for the $that I owe, and this can all go awayI will move as well so that you can rent to someone else and scam them as wellAnd yes, I will be sure to let the owner know of this as well and provide him with all of the legible copies I have attached since some of the other were kind of blurryScreenshots will prove I did not edit a single email

First Complaint: Carpet was is horrible pet/urine infested and torn conditionEmployee at Columbus Real Estate ProsGUARANTEED the carpet would be changedper email and via texting communication9/The company sent out THREE separate flooring companies over a span of months to measure the areas where carpet needed to be changed
Upon termination of the previous employee the current property manger refuses to communicate and denies any promises made by the companyI have email proof of this verbal agreement
Since then the maintenance request entered by property manager has mysteriously disappeared from the website it went "missing" after the employee was terminated/left the company
more issues: The electricity went out in my sons room and it took over a month for the situation to be fixed
Pest control was to be sent out by the company upon move inThat was also never done
I requested the locks to the garage door and rear entry be changed (we do not have key a

We contracted with Real Estate Pros in April to manage our four rental units located in *** *** Ohio We have since moved to *** TN Real Estate Pros has not paid us for months and has refused to return multiple phone calls or reply to numerous emails We have been having communication issues for over a year, but normally threatening phone calls (telling them we will be leaving there service) will get a reply

I'm a client with this company and when I call I EXPECT no one to answer the phoneYou most likely will need to leave a messageIf you need to discuss something about your property it seems that you will wait until someone there decides to call you backIn my experience, if you email your contact, there's a really good chance that it will bounce back informing you that your contact is ,"No longer with the company" and they'll give you a phone number with an extensionSo the process starts all over again

This property management company has seemingly fallen off the grid We have had no contact from them since 1/26/ Our tenants are moving out in a week and a half, and neither e-mails or phone calls are being answered for the changeover of the house back to us We have no details whatsoever The head of Operations, Brett S***'s phone's voice mail appears to be full and you can't leave a message We MUST have some kind of communication with the tenants leaving Don't know what else to do! We sent in writing via certified letters to President and Head of Operations that we were ending our contract with them same date tenants should be out by The letters were signed for

I contracted Columbus Real Estate Pros to rent my home in Ohio as I had to leave the state due to being transferred by my employer From the get go they said they pride themselves on customer service I simply asked that in addition to their monthly report they send me that they follow up with a phone call I never received a phone call and I emailed countless times and tried to call them
My contract was supposed to end in July of I reached out and asked what the status was and if the tenant was renewing for another year (because I had heard nothing) Columbus Real Estate Pros then informed me that they already contracted him into a month to month lease without ever notifying me or asking me Now its October, and again, throughout this whole time I have asked Columbus Real Estate Pros countless times to call so that we can discuss what the strategy is (since they put me in a horrible position of a winter move out) and I literally never received anything When my ren

We appreciate the concerns of this valued client and are working hard to address them while moving our relationship back to a place with which our client feels comfortable We have sent the following response via email to the client and are taking the necessary steps to address their
concerns:***: Assisting with your concerns ***Good morning, ***,Please accept our apologies for any breakdown(s) in communications regarding our Cleveland team. Our goal is the same as yours which is to deliver the most fluid management experience to you and your property while caring for you, your asset, and your tenants.I am copying your direct point of contact, *** ***, on this email; as she is frequently in the field assisting clients and customers while carrying our her duties, email is the most effective manner by which communications can be shared and she can also be reached at ***-***-***.I hope this assists you for future and current items of need. Regarding the utilities, specifically the water, based on the system by which this municipality handles utility, we would request that the utility stay in your name, Samantha be forwarded those bills to add to the tenant's account, and those reimbursements be collected and disbursed to you within one (1) accounting period. If there are any bills outstanding at this time or current bills in need of address, please respond to her and feel free to copy me for visibility so we can remedy that matter and collect those monies you are due.We sincerely hope this is a step in the right direction to mend the fences of our relationship and deliver the service needed. For any issues with Samantha's predecessor, you have our sincere apologies along with a strong expression of confidence that ***is engaged and dedicated to doing a good job for all the clients and properties under her purview. I think you will find her to be attentive and desirous of delivering value to you as a valued client here.I am pasting this response into the Revdex.com web site in response to your concerns voiced there as well and am hopeful we can close that matter and put this unpleasantness behind us in the interest of us extending the proverbial olive branch. In addition, we will be waiving your May management fee as a client credit to compensate you for any inconvenience. We hope you find this satisfactory so that complaint can be closed and, again, move forward together in a more positive direction. Should you be in need of additional service at this time, please let us know so we can help you.Thank you very much for working through this issue with us as well as being a valued client here; your business is appreciated and we hope you enjoy the upcoming weekend

I was moving from my home on South Euclid in May I went to Veteran's Administration in May to inquire about a home located @ *** *** ***, Elyria, Ohio which was advertised on the Internet through Real Estate Pros I called Real Estate Pros and set up an appointment to see the home with Sam (Samantha) who worked at Real Estate Pros I went to see the home and liked it The Veterans Administration sent a voucher to Real Estate Pros for the rent of the house and the security deposit Real Estate Pros stated they never dealt with veterans but Sam called the owner of the property and her supervisor that stated it was ok to do itReal Estate Pros had to wait for the voucher check to clear from Veterans Administration On July 1, I checked with the Veterans Administration who confirmed that the check had cleared on June 3, Sam, who works in Elyria Office, was waiting on the confirmation only to find out that the Columbus Office of Real Estate Pros receive

We appreciate the concerns of this soon-former client The client has interceded in the midst of our relationship, circumventing management to communicate directly with the tenant, in part, to facilitate the sale of the property We are forwarding any/all monies to the owner in
tandem with forwarding any/all appropriate documentation to the owner to close said account with the expectation of the owner receiving any monies i.edeposits, reserves, rent monies within 3-business days The owner is and has been in direct contact with their tenant; hence, the continuity of management, from the client perspective, should be seamless and we wish them the best with their property

I gave notice to RealEstate Pros on January 26, that I will not be continuing their service of managing my property at *** *** Ave#*** Cleveland, OH after my current tenant, *** ***, moves out on March 31, Consequently they are now holding payment for the month of February in the amount of $in which they sent the monthly statement but did not deposit any funds into my account I have sent two emails to Brett S*** about this missing payment and no response

After reviewing our maintenance records, there are no open work orders at this time The tenant is welcome to remit maintenance requests, as directed and requested of all tenants and as used before by these same tenants, through either their tenant portal or the web site to automatically
create a work order and automatically get them placed in queue for service They are also welcome to submit maintenance requests via our general support email.Regarding wanting to be let out of the lease for issues relating to a lack of safety, we would respond, in the most respectful manner possible, that this is not consistent with the true reasons given by the complainant as to why they want to be personally removed from the lease agreement and it is disappointing that this forum would seem to have been utilized in the interest of leveraging our online reputation against us in the interest of achieving an outcome which would constitute a breach of lease Additionally, this party has been informed that we cannot honor their request to break their contract and the reasons why While we are regretful that we cannot accommodate all requests made by tenants, the fact remains that we have a fiduciary and contractual obligation to the Landlord/Owner of this property and one of those is ensuring that parties to the lease agreement signed fulfill the full lease period

We truly appreciate this valued, long-term client bringing their concerns to our attention to afford us the platform to do everything in our power to address those concerns Our goal is to always provide the highest level of client and customer service; to that end, we surely value the
commentary of our clients and customers to achieve that end To date, in the interest of both improving our business operations and comprehensively answering this owners concerns, we have:Hired two (2) employees to take the place of one (1) staff member As a whole, in our northeast Ohio market, we are currently overstaffed by nearly 20% based on the industry standard with one of the main goals to maximize efficiency and deliver a superior level of service In essence, we are willing to make less money in the interest of doing a better job for this client and all our clients and customersContracted with two (2) national call answering services to answer more calls live in the interest of delivering a higher level of live serviceSent out informational pieces to all our tenants (customers) regarding things such as paying rent online and submitting work orders online in the interest of affording tenants excellent service for items which can be automated With respect to automating maintenance requests, this greatly expedites the process by removing up to three (3) steps in the process and getting tenants in queue fasterContacted the tenants at the property owned by the complainant to personally extend service Respectfully, at the time these concerns were lodged, there were no open work orders in our system for this propertyContacted the owner of the property to discuss their concerns and ensure a healthy relationship. At this time, we feel that we have acted in a meaningful manner which is comprehensive in nature and, while we would consider the matter closed unless advised otherwise, we will continue to communicate actively with both the owner and the tenant(s) in the interest of delivering a high level of service

REP is not willing to accept that there was an accounting error on their end, which lead to late feesI have nothing further to say and will proceed the way that is necessaryThank you

December 18th will make months that I have not received my $1,security deposit back from this companyThe agent told me I should get MY money back within days and if I do not then to please let him knowOn day 35, I called and he found that the check was not yet processed and he would call me backAfter waiting one more week, I decide to call and leave a message with the agent requesting a follow upHe calls back and states that it was already sent out and I should have it and he will do more investigating on why it hasn't been received and call me within 2-daysA week has passed from that call and I have not received a call back or an answer to my many phone callsI would like my money back that is owed to meI should not have to deal with this

We lived at a real-estate pros apartmentAfter they had health code violations, no heat being offered to our apartment (except the down stairs apartment having heat and thermostat- but that was not until months after we lived in the upstairs because the apartment downstairs was vacant) we also did not have a stove for months (which we were promised, they had a gas stove in a electric hookup location so it was not usable causing us to throw out groceries that couldn't be cooked and no way of warming food), the health inspector had came to this location and sighted them on many code violations
My son's bedroom was leaking rain water all over his bed- causing black mold on the ceiling When contacted (proof of this) they took over a week to even come fix it
We cleaned that apartment completely- I have photos to prove it
When we moved in there was furniture left in the apartment (that we were told they would remove and didn't- we had to do so ourselves) I also have emai

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find the resolution to be acceptable with the following changes (See attached). I want them to "TERMINATE" any and all collection action versus "suspend" against with regards to the matter.
