On 1-24-about 16:22:(MST)(time stamped on my check#***) I received a pop up from Microsoft on my computer which stated I had a problem and to call this number *** for repair and not to shut down my computerWhen I called the number (***)foreign accent-advised they could repair my computer for $99, then offered a lifetime virus protection for $199, exact total $and the lifetime virus protection would transfer to any other computer I would have in the futuresounds good rightWell they got me for my moneyThey preceded to work on my computer, the message was gone and later I found some of my functions were not working, example my SD card reader, I called them back several times to get this repaired, (***) always answered the phone and explained that tech support was not there, I would have to call back, I thought I was calling California, so time wouldn't be an issueI then got suspicious and was told I was scammedI would like a refund back as I h

Techbot represented themselves as a Microsoft partner, and guaranteed that I had a virus, when I did notThey requested $and guaranteed to protect me for lifetime securityI discovered that they were not part of Microsoft, then they offered to refund me $I refused to sign an electronic documentI notified my credit card company to file a dispute resolution as well
I noticed that they have had extensive scams throughout the US for some time

I WAS ON MY COMPUTER AND A SCREEN POPPED UP TELLING ME TO CALL TECHBOT SUPPORT DUE TO VIRUS ON MY COMPUTERI DID SO AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE WITH MICROSOFT SUPPORTAFTER ALMOST TWO HOURS AND CHARGED TO MY DEBIT CARD I HAVE LEARNED THAT THEY ARE NOT WITH MICROSOFT AND IT WAS A SCAMI AM REQUESTING MY MONEY RETURNED BACK TO ME OR I WILL FILE WITH AN ATTORNEY HERE IN MOBILE IF NEED BEAFTER I WAS TOLD IT WAS A SCAM I LOOKED THEM UP AND FOUND NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS LIKE MINEI WANT MY MONEY RETURNED ASAP
