I have been a home warranty customer of Comair for many yearsIn the past they have serviced many issues in my home including but not limited to "clogged" drainsI had a slow draining bathtub, they sent a plumber to resolve my issue in which he came equiped with a "snake" to clear my bathtub "clog"He was at my home for less than minutes, stated he could not clear the "clog" and leftI contacted Comair for an explanation as to what he found and for a resolution to what I beleived was a covered service under my warranty that I pay for annuallyComair offered to send another plumber out the next day, however I was unable to be at home for the hour window they require for appointmentsI was then told they would not have another plumber available for 1-weeksI did not feel that was adequate customer service as well as I did not want standing water in my tub for that length of time (I use my tub daily)I was then told I could call another plumbing company such as [redacted] I was also advised that my warranty really didn't cover "back-ups" or any type of "clogged" drainsI found this a bit unsettling since they had serviced my plumbing needs in the past and had set a presedent in that matterI felt that since their initial plumber did not resolve the issue and they were unable to assist my needs, they decided to now tell me I didn't have the coverage anywaysSo needless to say, I called [redacted] , they arrived and minutes later, my tub was drainingIt was a "clogged" drain (hair) that the plumber used a "snake" to resolve the issueUnfortunatley the charge was $I sent a request with a written explantation to Comair for a full refundI feel that I pay for a service and it was not provided, I had to go to another company to resolve my issue that I have a warranty forThey denied my request and gave every excuse as to why they would not refund me my moneyI would be very skeptical of this company if you are considering them for a home warrantyI will no longer be doing business with them and will not refer any family or friends their way

I was then told they would not have another plumber available for 1-2 weeks. I was then told I could call another plumbing company such as [redacted]. I was also advised that my warranty really didn't cover "back-ups" or any type of "clogged" drains. We purchased a [redacted] 5 ton gas package and thermostat from COMAIR on Oct 19, 2012 and on Dec 15 I tried to raise the heat temperature and got a shock. The thermostat showed u u, I changed batteries and filter according to instructions and finaly called COMAIR for service. As this thermostat has a 5 year warranty in Canada and USA I felt that I would have a no charge. When COMAIR arrived, they said the service call was $95.00 and the thermostat was $79.95. The service man checked the unit on roof and found nothing wrong there. He would not change the thermostat as his company said it was not under warranty. I showed him that it was and he relayed the message to his company. They steadfastly refused to honor the warranty I finally called them and [redacted] at the desk repeated that the warranty was not good in Arizona. I askedwhat part of the USA excluded AZ and then said I would complain to the

[redacted] and [redacted]. She then spoke with the owner of company who reluctantly agreed to put in thermostat if I would pay the $95.00 service. I thought this unfair but did so. I have the warranty from both old and new thermostats and since then have called [redacted] who make the thermostats. They have said COMAIR does not buy from them but they indeed would honor the warranty and have sent me a new notice saying the new thermostat is now valid for another 5 years. consumers should be made aware of these dealing so they are not taken advantage as we were. Your comments would be appreciated COMAIR also told me that if I had further problems with their product ([redacted] and thermostat that they would not deal with us.
