On 3/23/19 after driving over 70 miles, I was charged a service fee for using a credit card. The sales rep was to my knowledge the owner, a burly *** male probably in his 40s.The purchase included several items including a paintball marker for a total of 581.85 I received a non-ditital unitemized plain paper receipt that included a charge of 17.84 that was included in the subtotal and then taxed. The credit card was USAA VISA # ending in
If it is true that this fee practice is illegal, then the business should be censured/stopped from this practice. My credit charge should be adjusted too

Hello,
I am responding to the only letter received from your office about a complaint of our companies use of a cash discount program. We offer and promote a cash price versus credit price in our store. It is clearly marked on our entrance doors, at our registers, on our counters and on our website.
At the time of purchase if a customer provides a card for payment we verbally tell each customer that if they pay with cash today they will save 4%.
We are not sure how this customer was unable to see the clearly marked indications of this program but we can not make it any more evident than what we already have in place.
I am supplying the link to the actual law which was passed and ratified by the Congress of the United States and sighed in to law in 1981 as proof that the program we run is within all state and federal laws.
