Hi *** With reference to your letter regarding ID *** The first is yearly support and is standard for all customers. The second is for a custom report. Support is required for a customer to get a custom report. There is a standard process for custom reports. The report must first be defined and agreed on by both parties. In this case all required fields and information was agreed on. The custom report was completed and presented to ***. At this point the project was complete. Please note the attached e-mail from *** on January at 12:35. The last line of the first paragraph states that “ I know I had told you that we don’t need those, but I was wrong.” This means that the specifications had changed. Please see the e-mail from the report writer *** Weiss on February 26, at 10:19, that reminded *** that the project was completed based on her original agreed on specifications. We were willing to add the new requirements which would incur additional costs. Considerable amount of work has gone into this project. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.COMCASH continues to ignore the fact that I paid for the complete report, as specified by the printed requirements from [redacted]. On 12/4/14 I emailed COMCASH the "PM USA Scan Data Retail Reporting Requirements", On 1/9/15 [redacted] called and said that they could make me a report that would satisfy the requirements of [redacted]. I paid for the WHOLE report on 1/09/15. On 1/29/15 [redacted] Weiss started back paddling, because he figured out that the program would not do as they said that it would.
I had mentioned to [redacted] on 1/29/15 that I did not think that we would have to have those missing fields.  After I checked with [redacted] and their representative at InRythum, I found out that they would not accept any report that was not as specified by the instructions that were provided to COMCASH in December.  So as for their claim that the missing fields in the report were not in the original quote, that is not true.  As for their claim that I said that we did not need those fields, I did make that remark on 1/29/15, but the report was quoted and paid for a month prior to that conversation. It was at that point that [redacted] Weiss started dodging me by saying that they had not quoted those fields in the report.  The credit card challenge was denied because I was not willing to hire another software company for a second opinion.  This project has already cost our company $2200, for nothing.COMCASH had from 12/4/14 until 1/9/15 to go over the requirements and decide whether or not they could handle this job.  When they called on 1/09/15 and said that they could do the report, they wanted a credit card that day, so they were paid up front. Then when the report was incomplete and I was disqualified from the [redacted] program that I was trying to qualify for, COMCASH WOULD NOT EVEN RETURN MY CALLS. They did not complete what they were paid for and they owe us $2200.
