BEWARE of Megapath!! Our company moved to a site less than one mile away and when we requested them to move our service, I was told that our current package wasn't available and we would be forced to upgrade to a more expensive packageOur cost went from $to $- a 61% increase!!! As a small business, we have to control costs and a 61% increase in expense is not acceptable"Save Team Cases" contacted me and I completed their form in response to my disconnection request, stating exactly what the issue wasI received no further contact except for a bill that charged an EXCESSIVE early termination fee for canceling ($774.40)I have made several calls in an attempt to resolve this and was told point blank (and snarkily) that maybe our company should have thought twice before moving our businessHuh? What? I have a feeling that MegaPath must make their profits from charging former customers EXCESSIVE early termination feesI DO NOT RECOMMEND this businessBEWARE!

If I could give ZERO stars, I wouldWe don't have thousands of employees, but that doesn't make our needs any less importantI expect on-point service and supportAnd Megapath consistently drops the ballWe have used Megapath for ethernet Internet connectivity in one of our offices for many years(because our choices are very limited) The service ITSELF is fine It's as stable and reliable as any, I suppose Just do NOT ever upgrade your service You'll encounter some of the worst customer service and support you've ever seenWe've upgraded our internet twice Both of them have been like something straight out of your worst nightmares Four years ago we upgraded our service and Megapath and Verizon pointed fingers at each other for days while we had no internetLet that sink in for a minuteNo internet for three daysThis year, we decided to double our bandwidth I was obviously skeptical and worried about the process Because of that I asked if the upgrade would require any onsite visits or require any change in equipment or result in any downtimeOur sales rep ASSURED me that not only would there not be any onsite visit needed, there wouldn't be any hardware changes eitherIn fact, everything could be done on Megapath's end, transparent to usAnd best of all, we wouldn't experience any down time as a result Win win winNot so fastGuess what? Last week I get an email notifying me that a site visit that was required I inquired and was told our sales rep didn't know what he was talking aboutNot only was a site visit required, there would actually be TWO site visits and on the second visit, they would need to bring us down while they swapped out some equipmentOur second site visit was scheduled for this morning between the hours of 9a and 1p It’s now 2:20pm, and no sign of Megapath No emails, no phone callsNothingI had to call Megapath to find out what was going on They told me our visit had been rescheduled to between Noon - 4pmI'll leave it at that We'll see what time they show up and leave the rest to your imaginationZERO Stars, Megapath

Terrible company! Started with them in October of and they kept auto-renewing our service every year without letting anyone know! Tried to cancel July of this year and they told me their auto yearly renewal locks customers into another full year of service and to call back in October to cancel- I called today, being that October isn't too far away and now they say the contract extends until DecemberExtremely shady contractual obligations! I am not impressed with the service either
