Dear Mr [redacted] : We received your complaint, addressed to the Revdex.com, regarding the above-noted account Comenity Capital Bank issues GameStop PowerUp Rewards™ credit card accounts, and we respond to all account-related concerns Your complaint was forwarded to my attention, and I appreciate the opportunity to assist you We understand from your complaint that you purchased one item from GameStop, and that you paid for that item; however, you believe that you were charged twice for the item You are requesting the Bank cancel the second item and reduce your account balance to zero ($0.00) We understand your concerns, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced due to this matter Please note that Comenity Capital Bank and GameStop are two separate entities The Bank is responsible for addressing questions related to the credit card account, while GameStop is responsible for handling matters related to sales, merchandise processing, returns, and shipping After a thorough investigation, our records indicate that two transactions totaling $for a One Year PlayStation Network membership were applied to the account on January 19, On February 5, 2015, a statement was issued indicating a balance of $with a minimum payment of $due by March 3, Please note Comenity Capital Bank received your payments of $on March 7, 2015, and $on March 28, On February 17, 2015, the Bank received notice that you were disputing the second transaction While we investigated this matter, we issued a temporary credit of $to the account, to postpone charging any interest on the disputed amount This credit was outlined on the March 8, 2015, billing statement as a “provisional credit” At the conclusion of the billing dispute, GameStop provided documentation indicating that the transactions were two separate orders; as a result, Comenity Capital Bank removed the provisional credit applied to the account and added the charge of $back to the account On April 7, 2015, a statement was issued indicating a balance of $with a minimum payment of $due by May 3, As no payments were received for the months of May through July 2015, late fees and finance charges were applied to the account, pursuant to the terms outlined in the Credit Card Agreement (CCA), and the GameStop PowerUp Rewards™ account was reported to the credit-reporting agencies as 60-days past due On your behalf, we contacted GameStop regarding the two transactions, and once again, their records confirmed that two separate orders were placed for a One Year PlayStation Network membership Their records further confirmed that the orders were digitally delivered to the email address you provided at the time of purchase, and that the individual codes for both orders have been activated Should you have any further questions regarding these two transactions, we encourage you to contact GameStop directly at ###-###-#### Based upon the information we received from GameStop, the Bank declines the request to cancel the second transaction and reduce your account balance to zero ($0.00) However, in the interest of customer service, we issued credits totaling $for the previously assessed Bank fees: a credit of $was issued on July 10, 2015, and a credit of $was issued on July 31, As of today’s date, your account balance is $105.66, and the account is three billing cycles past due Should an account exceed six billing cycles past due, the account will be written off, and reported to the credit-reporting agencies as an unpaid debt We hope you find this information to be helpful If you have any further questions regarding this letter, please contact me directly at ###-###-####, ext [redacted] (TDD/TTY ###-###-####) I will be happy to assist you Sincerely, Lauren S [redacted]

Dear Ms. [redacted] We received the complaint you sent to the RevDex.com regarding PayPal Credit. Your correspondence was forwarded to Comenity Capital Bank. The PayPal Credit product is issued by Comenity Capital Bank and serviced by Bill Me Later, Inc. PayPal Credit is a payment option... made available by many merchants to their customers.Your complaint states you received an email from PayPal Credit informing you the telephone numbers associated with your PayPal Credit account were changed and asking you to call PayPal Credit if you did not request the changes. You called PayPal Credit and were advised by the agent the call was an attempt to collect a debt. You are requesting PayPal Credit not contact you again and your balance be waived.PayPal Credit’s records reflect your account was closed due to delinquency on December 4, 2015. On January 4, 2016, your account was referred to an outside collections agency to collect the balance on your account.On March 16, 2016, the outside collections agency attempted to contact you at an alternate telephone number obtained through a skip tracing service. During this call, an unidentified third party stated the telephone number was not associated with you and requested the telephone number be removed from PayPal Credit’s system. To process the request, the outside collections agency contacted PayPal Credit and asked that all telephone numbers associated with your account be removed.PayPal Credit completed the request, and because your primary telephone number was removed from your account, you were sent an automated email on March 18, 2016 to confirm the change. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.On March 18, 2016, you called PayPal Credit. Because your account was delinquent, you were advised by the agent that any information obtained during the call would be used to collect the debt. This disclosure is provided to all PayPal Credit account holders that call regarding past due accounts and is not in any way related to the e-mail you received.Upon receipt of your complaint, PayPal Credit recalled your account from the outside collections agency and placed a cease and desist on your account. You will no longer receive calls regarding your account; however, you remain responsible for the balance. Paypal Credit is trying to screw me overI made my payment for Jan on Dec 30thThey refused to apply it to my payment forcing me to not only make a double payment BUT py a late fee when the payment was NOT late! Regards, [redacted] ***

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. I have recived a letter stating that these accounts were to be moved. I will check my report in a few weeks and make sure that they have been removed. If I see that they have not, I will file another complaint.

I am checking my emails from Comenity Bank, and reviewed all my paymendsOnly times I was late with payment (usually day late)There are a few, that the paymend was done on the due day (18th of the month), but I still was charged late feeYour late fees vary between $and $Having average of $late fee (which is a lot for one day of being late) x $= $Or more precisely: $+ $+ $+ 2x $= $This is the maximum amount we should pay, if any(see attached screenshots) Also since January you started adding $minimum charge - I don't understand what is this for.One more thing: 4/22/- Promotional to revolving + $(I don't understand this charge as well)

I went online to their website and paid the entire balance, if there was a late fee, it would have been included in the account balanceI still don't feel like I owe any other fees

A high level customer service rep from PayPal took the time to call and listen to me.She acknowledged that the seller of the watch withdrew the charge for the watch.She looked at my account and realized that most of the charges were PayPal late fees.She graciously deleted all of the PayPal late charges.PayPal to date, has not closed my account, despite my request.However, fortunately, this account is not linked to my credit card or bank card accounts.If it were not for the Revdex.com, this would not have been resolved, because PayPal lower level employees refused to listen to me. I have paid my bill in full only to receive a bill for $when I do not have a balance on this accountThe have reinstated $plus $on my account when indeed this credit was a permanent credit that was issue to me based on a dispute of chargesThe services that I purchased were not utilize and I did not maximize the benefitsI missed my appoint and arrive at my destination lateThey promised me that I should not worry about anything they are there to help me in the best possible way and I will be given a permanent credit for the charges which they did but only to reverse them months later. They need to clear my balance on my account of the $and issue me the permanent credit of $immediatelyThis is theft and bate and switch that they often use I hope that they are paying attention to what has happened to Wells Fargo and Barkley Banks recentlyIn the Past chase and Bank of America have suffered for the same maltreatment of members
