Met with Comfort Air and agreed for instillation on July 23, 2020. They called me the day before and stated that my unit was damaged and the only resolution was to pay 200 more to put in a fancier unit or wait another 2-3 weeks, so I agreed to the extra 200 but come to find out that that did not include tax, so it was 266.00. I have no evidence that the unit was actually damaged and felt I was backed into a corner if I wanted a/c. My deposit was never taken and they requested a cheque for well over 500.00 more then my original quote (which I have). Come to find out today that the hose attached to the furnace today was cut too short and now have a wet basement. On top of it all I left them my house key to lock up afterwards and place in my mail box to return home and there is no key. When I called them to ask where the key was, they stated it was in my mail box, said not their problem and hung up on me.
I feel that I had no choice and was forced to purchase a fancier unit then I was quoted. There was no evidence that my unit was damaged.

First of all we did not force her to buy or upgrade the unit. We always load the truck day before installation, and that's when we found out the unit we order for her was damaged during the shipping, we called customer to discuss the situation, and we told her we have to send the unit back and get the replacement for it and because of covid-19 situation which all manufacturers with clothes for 2 months the suppliers could not supply us with the replacement right away we had to wait at least 5 to 7 business day to get the new one and because she was in such a hurry to get her air conditioning installed she asked for other alternative which with it upgrade her to the unit which normally is $600 more than the original one, and our cost different for that Eunice was $400 plus tax wish I offered her half of the cost $200 plus tax and she accepted it right away which was the very good deal for her and there was no forcing by any means.
Then when we went there to install the unit she she left the keys with the installers to put it in the mailbox when they leave and when the installers finished the job they called me and I went there and we call the customer she is specific told us to lock the door and leave the Keith in the mailbox which I did and after that she called us asking about the key and I did explain that we left it in the mailbox and she was the one hang up the phone on me I had no reason to hang up the phone I don't know what she's talking about.
