*** *** [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]Comfort Air did finally resolve the problem but their version of the story is not accurate Apparently the secretary didn't give an accurate account Just to set things straight I wasn't aware there needed to be regular checks of the system I do know I've complained almost every year that it has NEVER worked I have geoThermal and SOLAR and am still paying $in Jan and anytime temps are high or low I've also called the SOLAR company every year and they report everything as ok but the bills haven't dropped by a single penny SOMETHING MUST BE WRONG That's why, several months ago, I call both companies and gave them each others contact info and asked them to schedule a time when they could go out at the SAME TIME The solar company told me Comfort Air didn't return their phone calls When I talked to Roberto he apologized and said he would be there at the convenience of the renter I gave him the renter's phone number and asked him to set up a time Three weeks later I learned the rener hadn't been contacted Shortly after that the renter was killed in an ATV accident Without the rental income I couldn't make the mtg payments and desperately needed to sell I had to know what was wrong with the heat before I could sell I marked the house down $25,to make a quick sale and asked Comfort Air to come out during the week of Nov thru 13th to DISCONNECT the geothermal I'd given up on it every working at that point The secretary said they couldn't schedule that until AFTER DEC That was over weeks away!She didn't even try to find a compromise Turned out the geoThermal expert LIVED in the SAME SMALL TOWN as the house and he stopped by on his way home and turned off the system, which is ALL requested They did eventually find time to check the geoThermal Of course they found no problems, just like every time before, and still I have huge heating bills If they would have checked the system WITH the solar company maybe they could find out why I spent $60,for solar and geoThermal and haven't saved a cent I suggest the secretary take a class on customer service and try to think outside of the box.In the end I had to pay $for them to find "no problems" I will do everything I can to let people know about my experience with geoThermal.*** ***

To Whom it may concern,-Customer's Geothermal system works fine. System was installed 8 years ago and records show none of the require maintenance for warranty and proper operations being performed over that time. If system was too small it would never reach the set temperature and to our knowledge...

has never been the complaint. -Comfort Air has never missed an appointment unless the customer is referring to the one they canceled due to an unfortunate event. Comfort Air did say to call back and set up a new appointment for a more convenient time. "Now" isn't realistic for any company. Next available appointment which was much sooner that 12/11 "wasn't good enough".-Comfort Air did suggest calling another company and ended the phone conversation after customer said they would not pay for services.Update: Shortly after this complaint the customer had called back to apologize for being in a bad mood that day. Comfort Air has since been scheduled to check operations and make some other necessary repairs for selling the house. Work began on 11/27.
