This company does not possess the professional know how to help you fix your newer appliances, if any appliances. It's really about very aggressively pushing you to commit to a one time charge (overcharge), and lie down the road with no consequences but aggressiveness and rudeness.
Unfortunately, not giving it any stars is not an option.
Called this company to come in and look at my washer that's broken. I googled washer repair, this company come up as a top one, with the advertisement -- "Only ~ $59 ~ Appliance Repair Vancouver - Same Day Services." First of all, It's not the same day, I had to schedule an appointment with Tony for a few days later. He came on the appointment day, pressed the "On" button and off, and told me the machine is not working (no kidding). If I wish to proceed, he will quote me the price for him to check what's wrong with it. If I don't want to proceed, it will be a $60 dispatch fee. My *** washer is fairly new, made in 2016, has advanced programming where it's supposed to give you the error code for further diagnostic. However, Tony doesn't know how. He charged me ~$260 to take a look inside the machine and tell me what's wrong. He was very rude and aggressive, I felt like I was pushed into the transaction. I had told Tony earlier that when I was on the phone with the ***'s technician, running through the error codes, they had expressed given the error code doesn't stay when I turn it back on, it shouldn't be a major problem, maybe it's the control board. Coincidentally, that's Tony's diagnostic. Looking a bit defeated, he told me the main board no longer works and needs replacement. He contacted me a few days later, told me the main board is discontinued... So i'm out of luck for my 3-year old washer. I contacted *** myself, and found out that the control board come in two separate parts. Main control and display boards, and replacing the main control should work but my technician should be able to tell me. I contacted Tony again with parts number. He tells me the control board is $402+tax, and now that installation labour is $150. Tax and labour is not refundable, and he can't tell me whether the parts will work. My dad decided to take a look. He's not a professional just a handyman at home. He looked at it, cleaned the drum from debris and cleaning detergent-- it was very dirty (probably did not perform enough self clean cycles), and put it back together. The machine all of a sudden works like new. There is nothing wrong with the control board. I don't believe Tony knew how to fix newer washing machines, or any machines. I would have either spent $800+ and still have a broken washer, or have to buy a new one and throw away a good one, if I relied on his professional opinion and didn't investigate further. On top of it all, he was incredibly rude. I had some simple questions, but he was very aggressively yelling at me. My friend said if it wasn't for that I wanted to get my washer fixed quickly, he would have thrown him out. I called Tony him back to explain that there is nothing wrong with the control board and thought he should make some amends. He became even more aggressive, yelling "I don't believe you. If you want, you can take me to court. Do whatever you want. Don't call me". This is how this guy conducts business. I was perfectly calm on the phone.
This company's advertisement is very misleading. The guy behind it Tony, does not possess the professional expertise and courtesy manner to do business. He does not care if he can help you fix your problems, it's really about very aggressively pushing you to commit to a one time
charge, *** with no consequences but incredible rudeness. I would warn anyone to stay away from this company. When consumer rely on his expertise to make purchase decisions, he should be accountable for his lies and incompetence, not to mention rudeness.
