I cannot speak highly enough of this company! We had a rather extensive remodeling project involving building out a wall, installing a gas fireplace, stone work, custom cabinets and lighting Jason, Bob and crew did an outstanding job in all areas Their opinions, expertise and advice were so very helpful Personable and a delight to have working in your home The finished product exceeded our expectations I only wish I could provide a picture! Highly recommend this company
We received a recommendation from our local brick and block company to call Jason at Cozy Hearth Masonry for work involving tearing down the chimney to at least roof height, rebuild, add more height to comply with current code, and get everything ready so that we could have interior chimney work completed He has his phone number and email address on his business card, and when I was unable to leave a message on the phone, I sent an email and received a call immediately after He made himself immediately available to come and take a look and to give an estimate the next day The estimate was MORE than fair, we agreed to move forward pending an approval for brick choice (house was built in '68, so more difficult to match brick) He went, immediately after giving the estimate, to the brick and block supplier, found one that he felt was the most appropriate (by comparing to a picture of our brick color he took on his phone prior), came back, we checked it out, approved, and moved forward This was on a Friday, and he said work could begin Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week They arrived Tuesday morning at 9am, and began setting up the scaffolding, and tore the chimney down to where they needed, and alerted us to and showed us some revealed damage behind, and possible need for further action, and gave a referral to a company specializing in those repairs (thankfully, the further repairs were not necessary with further inspection, but we were very grateful for someone who was paying attention to details and wanting to be sure any potential problems were cared for in a timely fashion) Brick-laying began the next day, and then had to be delayed until the following Monday (due to massive amounts of rain) All through the process, we were asked if the work was looking satisfactory, and we have been quite pleased with the attention to detail and structural soundness weeks from the initial estimate, we have a completed chimney, with the offer from and assurance that Jason (the owner and mason) would be coming out on a yearly basis to ensure we don't have issues with cracks on some brick that we were unable to replace, but that has been sealed well They were very professional, while also very personable They cleaned up thoroughly when all the work was completed
