Review: Around [redacted] that evening, I was sitting in my room and could smell marihuana in the hallway on the floor I was staying on. A little bit later, I heard either the front desk clerk/housekeeping spraying air freshener in the hallway. I was hoping the staff took care of the issue. Within the hour, the marihuana smell got even worse in which I had to put a towel under my door to try and stop some of the smell. I called the front desk clerk. I told her the smell was getting worse. The front desk clerk immediately asked me if I wanted to change rooms. She stated she already moved someone else to a different floor. This made me more upset, it was [redacted] at night, I was not the problem, plus I had a job interview in the morning.I asked her if she was going to kick the other room out with the smell since they were the problem. The front desk clerk stated: wellwe have to warn first, then maybe. A couple minutes later the front desk clerk along with one of the girls who was sitting in the foyer when I first walked in, came upstairs and started spraying the hallway again. This girl asked the front desk clerk, Do you smell that It smells good huh? Must be good stuff. The front desk clerk said, Yeah it must be. They walked past my room went down the hall and knocked on one of the doors. The front desk clerk stated to the people in the room, dont open the door. She then started spraying around the outside of the door. They knocked on another door in which they were let in. The front desk clerk then asked them do you want to get kicked out? People are complaining. When saying this, it indicated she was friends with thepeople in the room. Nothing else was done and the smell still lingered. When emailing the company, they stated they will talk with management there, but stated:"Proving beyond a reasonable doubt who is the offending person is difficult and inaccurate at times. Our best course of action is to separate guests but when either guest is willing to compromise we are left with limited options"Desired Settlement: I feel a refund of the night would be an acceptable request after the above incident. The above statement from management to me is unacceptable since, the issue never was solved to completion.The staff knew exactly who the offending parties were and if I was unwilling to move then it should have been asked to the offending parties to move rooms or even better kicked out.

Review: I checked into the above hotel approx 6:00 pm. Got up to my room at the fire alarm was making a beeping noise about every 2 minutes. I called the front desk and the agent was pretty much clueless what to do. I told her to bring a battery because the alarm was missing one. She asked what kind and came up to the room and I put it in. It continued to beep, so we left the property and I said I would like this fixed by the time I get back tonight. I came back to the hotel at 11:00 pm, the alarm was still beeping. The new front desk agent came up and tried to fix it, still beeping. They tried to contact their manager, but no response. It's about 12am and the hotel could do nothing for me. I got no sleep the first night, in the morning went to the nearest gas station and purchased a new battery thinking maybe the one they tried was dead. It worked. I left messages for the manager to contact me for a refund for my first night, he never called or emailed. The front desk gave excuses of him not being there or in meeting's all day. I called [redacted] complaint department on July [redacted]. They said to try and get a response from the manger before I check out, if not call them back. The manger put a 50% discount in my reservation for that first night, that doesn't cover the full first night stay. I contacted the complaint department again on July [redacted] and they said they will try to contact the manager. I also contacted the company I booked my stay with and they will try to contact him too. This was unacceptable from them. I had my son who just flew an 8 hour flight from Germany, and we had to deal with this. I will never stay at their properties again in the future. They ignored my request's, and this is the worst customer service I ever received from a hotel propertyDesired Settlement: I would like my first night stay refunded in full for July [redacted], not a 50% discount
