Via Live Chat: [redacted] ***, My name is [redacted] and I am from the Comfort INN in cleveland and I am responding to a complaint from [redacted] Complaint ID [redacted] I want you to know that I contacted the guest to discuss the matter and I offered to give him a future free night and his response was "FU" and he didn't just give me the initials.he said your only gonna give me free night and said it twice more.He and his wife were both on the phone at the same timeDuring his stay we explained the lay out of the rooms to his sister and she agreed that she would not want to stay in the same room as him whether it is a suite or a doubleHe was angry from the beginning and the girl did mention calling the police b/c he was causing such a seen in the lobby

The transaction was posted on your hotel folio on 7/19 and processed thru our credit card services on 7/20 so it would be next to impossible for us to have charged you on 8/19. However, If you can provide the statement showing me otherwise then I will issue the refund. From: [redacted]Date: Tue, Sep 8, 2015 at 12:00 PMSubject: Complaint #[redacted]To: [redacted],The only receipt that I got is the charge on my credit card.My credit card receipt from August 15 showed a charge from Cleveland Comfort Inn for the $38 and my receipt from [redacted] showed the hotel charges paid in full. When I left Comfort Inn, I was told that I had NO extra charges on my bill and it was paid in full. I was asked if I needed the receipt and I told them NO I DID not since it was paid in full. Thus my grandson and I left.  I find it strange that they (Comfort Inn) asked my credit card to so that if I had any extra charges. Well, guess what I had NONE. If there they were charging me for parking then why did not they charge my credit card then? Well, the answer is very simple they did not charge me for parking until a month later.Well, here is something for them to think about I place my review on TRIP ADVISOR which is VERY BAD and I had over 500 people review my comment as to this problem and it will stay there until I am satisfied. Again as a Choice Privileges “Elite Diamond” member, you would think that they would correct this issue but I see that they are so darn cheap they are charging people after the fact which is totally illegal. Therefore since I placed my complaint on Trip Advisor I know that Choice Hotel are NOT happy and wants to correct this.[redacted]

So that it comes down to the fact while I was a month later they end up now  charging my credit card $38 for parking.

Yes, the it, [redacted], offered a "free" night for the inconvenience of not honoring our month-old reservations for a suite and attempting to place  us in same room. Rather than 3 nights in a suite, we paid for 5 nights in single rooms. One "free" night comes not close to compensating. I want this on record for all to review until a reasonable compensation is offered, like the lying it, [redacted], losing his job.Thanks.[redacted]

I have attached a copy of his pre-paid guest [redacted] when making reservation. Hotel charged [redacted] on 7/15/2015. I have also attached a copy of the quest parking passes that was charge on...

7/19/2015. He was not charged on 8/19/2015 as he stated and finally I am sending over a copy of the Comfort Inn policy that [redacted] signed showing the parking fee.
