this guest. In the past several stays here at our hotel, the guest had several accidents. First time he left the water running in the bathroom sink and the bathtub. Second time he clogged the jacuzzi because he had an accident in there and the toilet. Third time accident happened all over the bed which we had to throw the entire bed set and the towels. It was several towels that was used after coloring the hair. We charged the guest $for the damages and what the housekeeper have to go through to clean this messWe spoke to the guest and have resolved this issue by refunding them the $200. They did send a manager over to inspect the work and to go over recommended ways of maintaining the product, that will hopefully prove more effective. They admitted this install was not to their standards and after seeing the pictures presented offered an apology to us. We were given the direct numbers of the owner and manager so any future issues will be presented directly to them to be dealt with in a timely and proper manner

We regret making some mistakes on the installation of the project.  Unfortunately human error does occur from time to time and we always try to make things right.  The initial leak was caused by an issue with the overflow.  When we were notified of the leak, we responded and fixed the...

problem.  We fixed the drywall damaged by the leak, repainted the ceiling, and paid for a cleaning service to clean the carpet that got wet in the process.  In addition, we refunded the customer $1700.  The sealant that we use is made specifically for use in bathroom environments and contains a mildewcide.  It is the best product on the market that we know of, but no sealant is mold and mildew proof.  We are continuing to work with the customer to try to understand why they have issues with the sealant.  We left messages for the customer to set up a time to address the cosmetic issues mentioned in the complaint and hope to resolve them as soon as possible.

I talked to the customer on the phone.  We are sending a manager to inspect the job on Wednesday as the customer requested.

Review: My stay at the Econo Lodge on 07/02/15 was the worst experience I've ever had for the following reasons: the floor was damp and sticky; my smoke free room smelled like smoke and mildew; the bedding had small red and yellow stains of unknown origin; the water my wife drank from the sink to swallow her pills tasted contaminated; my wife was exposed to brown rusty water when she showered; the smoke alarm sounded continuously because of shower steam; I had to disconnect the smoke alarm from the wall to end the constant noise; I witnessed a live bedbug crawling around; I checked out several hours early because of disgust; the attendant failed to ask about my stay during checkout because she was on a personal callDesired Settlement: I want a full refund for my one night stay in the amount of $82.49.
