Comfort Master of Sacramento

Review: On December 11,2013 I placed a call to Comfort Master because my furnace was not working properly. A service technician arrived and inspected my unit advising me I needed a new motor and wanted to install it. I told him I was trying to get through this season and then possibly purchasing a new furnace. He agreed to try and get the unit started without the motor. He was able to do so and left. Several hours later the motor was working fine but the unit was blowing cold air. I called Comfort Master back and they sent a different technician to re-check the unit. He discovered the gas flow was not working properly, made some adjustments and got the unit working great he also installed a new thermostat at my request.I called Comfort Master because I felt the first technician arrived with the intention to install a new motor and did not take the time necessary to properly diagnosis the unit.I was referred to the business owner and she agreed to immediately refund me an amount of $71. I agreed this was a fair settlement.Several weeks passed and I did not receive the check. Two weeks ago I called Comfort Master again and was told " I'm very sorry, the request for your refund is right here, it had been misplaced and your check will be mailed immediately. It is now January 16, 2014 and I have yet to receive the refund.Desired Settlement: The promised refund in the amount of $71

The check is in the mail! Seriously! It was forgotten as I had just returned from a delayed East Coast flight when [redacted] called December 11th and the day that [redacted] called to follow up, office staff was out with the flue, it was hectic and forgotten again. A thousand apologies.
