Comfort Now Heating & Cooling

Review: On March5, 2013 ,Comfort Now Heating and Cooling replaced the exhaust inducer on my furnace at my personal residence at [redacted] at a total cost off $438.43.

Much to my dismay, when I had my central air conditioner serviced in may by my new heating and cooling contractor, the technician indicated that the exhaust inducer part installed by Comfort Now is not the correct one for that model of furnace and could cause complications and shut down of the furnace come the heating season.

At the time of service by Comfort Now, the address listed on the work invoice was [redacted]

I made every effort to contact the owner [redacted] even having my attorney in Neenah write. The owner Mr. [redacted] refuses to make any suggestions to right the situation. We even stated that we may start a small claims action in Brown county to no avail.Desired Settlement: Receive a refund of the bill dated March 5, 2013 or receive the proper part(exhaust inducer) so that I can have my heating people here in Appleton install it.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regarding the response that was made by Comfort Now Heating and

Cooling that was in my e mail today, please indicate that they must

communicate with me as I no longer have an Attorney representing me in

the case. If they do not want to work with me, and after this is

filed, I will consider doing a "self-help" small claims action against

Comfort Now Heating an Cooling.

Awful business experience will not continue to do business with them. Insisted I make the tune up appointment 6 months in advance and then called and asked to cancel 1/2 before. When I informed the service provider that I left work early and that he could reschedule if wanted but it would have to be after 5 pm or on Friday when my husband was off of work - he said neither of those would work and that the weren't going to pay over time for a service call. I told him that I wasn't the one cancelling the appointment and that he could come as scheduled or reschedule at the suggested time - he hung up.
