Comfort Zone Heating & Cooling

We bought our house in 2007, the year after a new HVAC was installed by ComfortZoneThat installation also brought the remainder of a year 'service contact' where our unit was to be cleaned quarterlyProblem was, the unit (we found out later from a factory certified tech) was NEVER cleaned properly, and one of the ComfortZone technicians put a large dent in the hood that connects it to the houseRainwater began to pool up in the dent, then it began to rustTheir solution? Send someone over with a piece of scrap metal to cover the dent, then screw it in over the existing problemNot the solution we were hoping for
Then the same year old HVAC died in November while I was away from home on an extended job, leaving my wife and two kids home with no heatLuckily, they were able to make due with our fireplace and a small propane heater for several weeksWhen I reached out to the owner of Comfort Zone, *** ***, about the warranty on the unit (years according to the contract), he found every reason under the sun not to honor itTurns out, the factory (again, straight from their rep) only warranties the unit for years, so his 'contract' is really just a vehicle to hold homeowners over a barrel while he figures out how to extract more money from youGlad we found an honest repair person in our neighborhood who got us up in running for just more than 1/what Mr*** quoted us
Caveat emptor to all

This is an honest company! I have dealt with them for four years and would recommend them. They quoted me a price several days ago that I agreed to and then called me to tell me the price was actually less! That shows me once again they are honest!
