Comfortable Care Dentistry Reviews (7)

The office staff lied to me from the first appointment. I saw the an add for clear braces through their office on Group-on. They said that I didn't need to go through Group-on, that they would honor that price. I needed to pay in full, that day, then they would file with the insurance and I will get $1500 back. They filed and kept my money. It took almost 2 years of hassles before I finally got a check from the dentist, after my treatment was completed (which was delayed extensively). What a corrupt office.

Review: In November of 2012 I went to [redacted] in search for a new dentist. Had cleanings done and paid cash. Because they were not in the network with my insurance. I needed a crown so I went in for my appointment at 4:00. He told me I needed another crown next to it. Could not just do one without another. So I paid $1,460 and $1,650 for the other cash for the two crowns. the procedure took three hours. It was a very uncomfortable and painful procedure. A week went by and I had horrible headaches. Pain behind my left eye. Dizziness and my balance was off. I went to all sorts of doctors trying to get help. No one knew what was wrong. I never had any of these problems before I had those two teeth crowned. I am a healthy thirty two year old. Eventually I went back to that dentist. He did something with my jaw. Then told me I had TMJ and needed a night guard. I couldn't deal with the headaches any longer so I payed CASH....AGIAN, $487 for a night guard in May 2013. They called me back in June 2013 to try the mouthguard they had ordered for me. mouthGuard did not fit right. So they said they are going to have to send it out to get it resized. So then I called every week since then and they said they did not receive it yet. After waiting months for my mouth guard. I called them to ask for a refund because there was no point of the mouth guard anymore. The headaches dissipated in time. They argued with me and told me there is no refund. I kept calling finally they told me I can have a credit and use it toward anything in the office. I went in for a cleaning in December 2013 and they billed me. Which I thought was weird cause I had a credit? So I called them and they said they never said that. I still call every week and email them and still no response. I have tried to handle this on my own and I am not getting anywhere with them. I have waited too long and all I want is my money back. I think this is very unprofessional. And I should be refunded without any questions.Desired Settlement: All I am asking for is my money back. I payed almost $500 for something I do not have. Nor need or want after nearly eighteen months.

Review: Comfortable care dentistry owes me a $182.30 refund since Febuary 2015. I have made several attempts to email and call the office to resolve this issue and I am unable to get an answer as to when my refund will be issued?Desired Settlement: Would like to receive my refund! I no longer can trust that office.

Review: Had multiple [redacted]s and [redacted]s performed by Dr. [redacted]. It seems that every time I go for a cleaning I require a [redacted] and [redacted], which I find to be quite ridiculous. The most recent was a [redacted] and [redacted] done about a year and a half ago. The [redacted] had fallen off prior to my my recent dental cleaning (3/12/14)and found out I needed another [redacted] along with getting 3 [redacted]s because his previous [redacted]s are showing failure. This has raised concern for me for two reason 1.) lack of warranty coverage 2) the astronomical cost. Originally Dr. * wanted to charge me over $8,000 dollars and when I called my insurance company to look into this price, he had over charged me per my dental plans limits. The price dropped, but still expensive. I went and got 2 second opinions and found that the most recent [redacted] that failed and fell off was done poorly and that the [redacted] failed which in turn has killed my tooth. There is also a sign of possible infection which I will need to go get a CAT scan to determine. Another tooth done by Dr** is also showing as dying and needs to be pulled. Also the service has been horrible. Cleanings are painful and Dr. * has not stepped in and looked at my mouth since my last [redacted]. I feel like I am not getting the proper treatment for my dental needs. Through second opinions I found I have other underlying issues that Dr. * and his staff have failed to inform me about or must have not found. I need fillings to be replaced with decay that needs to be removed then refilled, and the [redacted]s that has has made do not properly fit and cover my existing teeth after his [redacted]s he has done in the past. The amount that he has charged me over the years as been outrageous compared to cost estimates from second opinions. I am upset that he has been charging and taking so much money from me that I have been struggling to not only pay my dental bills but other bills I am responsible for as well.Desired Settlement: I do not trust Dr. * nor his staff anymore for his quality of work, lack of treatment, and poor communication. I do not want to step foot in his practice nor do I want him to perform any work on my mouth as I fear that more issues will arise. I now have more issues with my dental health that will cost me more to fix and address due to his lack of quality work. I would like a refund I spent for poor results or would like for him to fund or partly fund my future dental work with a new dentist.

Review: in July of 2012, I needed to have a root canal done and scheduled the procedure with the above practice. I paid the amount $2,289 in advance of the procedure. On the day of the procedure, I followed all directions given on care sheet, went to dentist, was put in a room, had my teeth clean, my gums desensitized but no root canal. I was there from 1:00 until approximately 5:00 or 5:30 and I never saw the dentist. I also never got a root canal, nor was I given an explanation of why I did not have a root canal done. I called the office the following day to make sure I could get in first thing on July 5th only to find out that their office was closed until the following Monday. I called the on call number, I texted and nobody returned my call. On July 5th I returned to work and emailed the dentist but never got a response. I have been calling, emailing etc. and this dentist still has not returned my money nor even told me why he did not do the procedure. I have been walking around with half a tooth since July because I cannot afford to go to another dentist to have it done. I am getting so frustrated and feel that I have been made a fool of by this practice. Is there someone, if not you, that can make this dentist explain what his justification of not refunding my money is?

Product_Or_Service: root canal

Order_Number: NA

Desired Settlement: As of last week, dentist gave me partial refund. I still have gotten no explanation as to why this service was not done on the day I went in to their office having prepaid two weeks prior. There was no response to my calls into this offices "on call" number, emails, etc... was left with no medication, no root canal, no answers on a holiday weekned.. After 9 months the dr. sent me a partial refund and I want entire amount refunded. I want to know why I was not given the service I paid for.

Review: This dentist office has deceptive billing and service practises. I am owed money because I was required to pay for service in full before service was provided.Desired Settlement: I HAVE 2 ISSUES THAT NEED TO BE RESOLVED: FIRST: I am asking to be refunded the UNUSED PORTION OF THE OVER $800 I PRE PAID AND DID NOT RECEIVE ALL OF THE SERVICE I PAID FOR.2nd: THIS DENTIST OFFICE MADE ME TAKE A LOAN FOR FUTURE WORK THAT WAS NEVER DONE. I WANT THAT TO BE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY.,
