To whom it may concern:In reference to complaint D # [redacted] , I must state that as we are not specifically a wine shop, but a liquor store, our staff has limited expertise in the vast array of wine flavorings, pairings, etcWe would hope that our customers would understand that everyone's palate is different, and with that fact, what might be slightly sweet for one, might be more so sweet for another,We have three hotels right near our store, and a great many of our hotel clientele request recommendationsQuite often the same customers return to say thank you and buy moreFor the concern that we don’t have our store policies posted; enclosed with this letter, are photos stating our policyOur policy has always been that all sales are final, with no refunds or exchangesWe have this information posted at the front door as well as our front counterThis is done so that the policies are clear and conciseIf there are questions concerning the policies, from our customers, our staff is happy to assist and help our customers understand why we can’t accept anything for exchange or refundThe reason of it being consumable products is the same for our store and other liquor store businesses in the-For the reasons stated above, we feel we must stand beside our decision of our store policyWe simply can not accept an open bottle for refund or exchange.Sincerely,Staff at Commerce Liquors
