On April 4th I got a call from *** *** asking if I had time to change an alternator on a VW *** *** said they tested the battery and found thatt he alternator was not working properly.I replaced the alternator on the VW and the customer asked me to replace the battery that
was in the car with the one that was placed on the back seat due to borrowing itI said no problem and that I would make sure both batteries were charged at no extra cost.I do not keep any new or used batteries in my shop I get as I need them from *** ***This is why *** *** sends us work because they can trust us to take care of their customer at a fair and reasonable price and have never had a complaintWe have made many new customers because of *** *** suggesting us.As for the battery that the claimant says I kept I went over to *** *** and they said that the battery that they are claiming was in the car would not fit a VWThat they said indeed sold him the battery he is claiming was stolen.I have been in this business for over years and I have never been accused of stealing anything before not even a used battery.If you read on top of his receipt he provided it says it's for a Chev truck not a Volkswagon.Thank you,Mark ***
