I'd give Commercial Coatings a D, based on nothing more than their complete lack of ability to communicate with their customers We hired them to paint our house and stain our deck in 2014, and were initially very impressed with Mike and his team (even though the price was very high)They were fastidious in their work, and got the job done in a timely fashionUnfortunately, they used a poor quality product from a big local provider (you can guess the name), which was soon pulled from the market and failed on our deck, within months Commercial Coatings came back with a new product, and sealed the deck, againThe new product (same mfg.) again failedAt this point, communications broke down, Commercial Coatings became confrontational, and we had to call in the manufacturer One excuse after another from Commercial Coatings, and only after multiple emails and texts, and we finally had to threaten legal action to get reimbursed for the poor product, preparation, and installation Long story short, this was a two year process that, with some decent communication, could've been much better for all involvedTake my review with a grain of salt, if you please However, note that Commercial Coatings has been given an 'F' by the Revdex.com, due to the fact that they claim to be a Revdex.com member (on the "About" section of their website), even though they're notI think that says enough about the type of company they are, to back up my statements Maybe they're good for commercial jobs (based on their name), but I would never recommend them for a residential job
