To whom it may concern, In response to Mr***'s complaint, our diagnosis had nothing to do with the Fuse/Disconnect, of which his son had TURNED BACK ONIn-fact the reason the disconnect was left that way was to PREVENT any further damage to the Condenser Fan-motor, and the CompressorThe
initial problem that we were called out for was for his BLOWER Motor not coming on, and the lack of air being received inside the houseThere was no charge for the diagnosis, trip, or the minimum one-hour associated with our initial visitOur diagnosis (whether it was right or wrong, which has yet to be seen) was pointing towards the circuit-board, therefore the disconnect was set in the OFF position, and the unit was put back together for the next business day we could install the part (Monday)However Mr*** called us the next day(Saturday) and said that he found someone else who figured out the problem, and didn't relay as to what it wasStill not being charged for any time or effort on our part, we gladly accepted that the call was a wash, and were thankful that Mr*** was able to get his unit workingRegardless of our diagnosis being right or wrong, the fault does not fall on our companyWe took measures to insure Mr***'s unit would not incur further damage to any parts by switching his disconnect offWhen he had his son re-input the disconnect switch, and continue to run his condenser fan-motor and compressor they damaged their unitTo lay blame on us is wrong, we strive for excellence with all our customers, and to find out Mr*** wants to have us front the bill for something that was already damaged, or damaged by the actions of himself or his family is unfairPrevious to this visit, we installed the compressor for this same unit, Mr*** has had no issues with our work then, and unfortunately this misunderstanding will prevent any further business to be done with Mr***.-Bob G***Owner of Polar Heating and Refrigeration Inc
