Review: We contracted on 8/23/13 for Commercial Grounds Maintenance to perform hot rubber crack fill at my property in Milton, WI. Owner [redacted] indicated that the job would be done in the next few weeks. Weeks and weeks passed, with little or no response to phone calls requesting a calendar date for the work to be done. Finally on 9/24, [redacted] indicated the job would be done on 9/27, and that I could come out about 4pm to inspect. When I arrived, the worker was less than 1/2 done, and many cracks were improperly filled. The weeds need to be removed before crack fill (as promised on contract), but they were just painted over with rubber, and cracks left filled with mud and weeds, just covered with rubber (no adhesion this way). Worker left the property without completing job, and owner does not answer phone or emails. No response from owner.Desired Settlement: I do not want this company to come back to the property. They are unprofessional and have wasted my time (5 weeks waiting, now maybe too close to winter to get on another company's schedule). The work done is less than if they hadn't started. The cracks need to be cleaned out which is now gooped up with improperly applied rubber, it will surely allow water in and cause freeze damage this winter if not repaired, and then mostly fall out in the next year or 2.
I am not sure the remedy that can be done to fix this since their worker is so untrained that he coudn't do it properly the first time.

Response:
Intially a proposal was sent to [redacted] for a sealcoat,
crackfill and striping of his parking lot out in Milton,WI. [redacted]
recieved the proposal and due to the cost requested a revised proposal
for a crackfilling of his parking lot only and did not want to pay
additional for the routing of the cracks. The routing of the cracks
would have removed all vegetation in the cracks and gave a uniform depth
and width. [redacted] approved for the work to be done in late August
and was informed that we would try to get the lot scheduled in
September. The lot was scheduled to be started in the afternoon of
September 27, 2013 and the crew was there in the afternoon. The crew
started the lot and due to heavy traffic on the lot and numerous
additional request from [redacted] as he was on site when work was being
completed the crew was unable to finish job that day. [redacted]
attempted to try to talk the crew into routing the cracks without having
to pay for the service that he initially declined. The crew informed
him that they would need to get an additional work order signed for the
increase cost and [redacted] declined but still attempted to have them
complete the service at no additional cost.
