[redacted] contacted me about a used office desk set that was staged in a home in Raleigh, North Carolina, The home sold so I advertised the office set on Craigslist Raleigh, N.CMr [redacted] called many times wanting to buy and agreed to buy for [redacted] delivered I agreed to deliver it to his home in Thomasville, North Carolina As long as Mr [redacted] could take it off the truck and put it in his home The desk never had any odor or smell to it while it was in the staged home in all the months and he never complained at all after I opened the truck Mr *** went on the truck to carry it off on a hot August 18thDayI helped him carry in the house and set it up as wellThe [redacted] wanted it put in front of the window where the sun was shining in and advised against to no availI took payment of the [redacted] and wrote a receipt ,all sales final noted and signedA copy of the receipt is attached.Mr [redacted] then asks if a warrant was remaining I said yes months and wrote it on the receipt as months had already passed August I received a call from Ms ***, she said an odor was coming from the Credenza Hutch I said I would help them anyway I could with the warranty.She then ended the callI immediately received a call from Mr [redacted] said he wants to make sure that I understand make no mistake that the only thing he is accepting would be a full refund.I said no that is why you signed all sales finalHe then becomes threatening over the phoneAt hat point I thought it was best to end the callSame day [redacted] of Thomasville, N.CPlaced an ad on [redacted] t listing his phone number and his address in the posting, August the same day he contacted meHe is selling the desk, credenza hutch for [redacted] says reduced price, excellent condition, flawless and they are only selling because they are moving.Please see his ad attached ad running for the last two weeksAgain I offered to help Mrand Mrs*** that I would do whatever I could to help themAt this pointMr [redacted] became upset at any mention of the warranty, he wanted a full refund and nothing else and began making threatsAfter reading thru his craigslist posting made it completely clear that nothing is wrong with the desk credenza and hutch Sincerely [redacted] [redacted]
