Review: On 10/07/2013 our Business [redacted]- [redacted] Store, purchased a walk in commericial cooler from Commercial Refrigeration Plus for $14000. Our agreement was the cooler would be used but, main components would be new. In the 10 months we have owned the unit we have spent $2605.50 on repairs including purchasing a new compressor. Upon further investigation by a qualified HVAC contractor ([redacted]) it was determined tha 1. The cooler was not installed correctly which was making it work to hard as well as, 2. The compressor (which runs the unit) was from 2005. I did not agree to cut corners on installation nor, did I agree to a 8 yr old compressor. I have Called Commercial Refrigeration multiple times as well as faxing over all the repair bills. He refuses to do anything about the shady compressor he sold us. With $20000 in product in that cooler, repair was urgent. According to our HVAC technician, we did not get what we paid for. He said the compressor is old which is why it keeps breaking and it was not installed correctly therefore it had to work much harder. Commercial Refrigeration Plus tried to get away cheap and I paid the price for having faith that he would do what we agreed on. I feel he should reimburse us for the constant repairs to the unit. This buisness is my livelihood and a new buisness. Due to the cooler issues we have had to throw out product as well as not being able to sell product due to the constant problems we have had with the product purchased by commercial refrigeration.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the $2605.50 I spent in repairs to the unit.
