Review: After noticing alarmingly high electricity rates and bills, I decided to call my electric company, [redacted]. They told me that I had contracted with a supplier, [redacted] Energy, and that I would have to speak with them. I called [redacted], and they told me that I entered into a contract with them in February 2014. Since I knew neither me nor my wife made this commitment, I asked how it occurred and who authorized it. I was given my wife's name, my work phone number, and the e-mail address of a Commercial Utility employee. I have been waiting for a call back from [redacted] to give me more information (was it physically signed, digitally signed, verbal, etc.?), but I have yet to hear back.

I am not sure why the Commercial Utility employee would have illegally committed this act using my information, but I do know that I did not authorize or consent to it. Over the past year, it has cost me upwards of $2,000 more than what I would have paid.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate a phone call to discuss the matter as soon as possible.
