Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I do have a complete copy of the insured informationI also researched what defines handyman work and it clearly identifies the work that was done as acceptable handyman workI am quite sure the insurance company does not need a copy of the policy but I am more than happy to provide if need beI will not give up what is clearly the responsibility of the insurance companyI will take this to the next level if needed with documentation and copies of receipts and photos Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2015/05/22) */
Case has been resolved with great satisfaction. This error was not the fault of commercial insurance. It was an error on BDCF side that commercial has fixed.

To Whom it May Concern,The insured (Commercialinsurance.NET customer) is insured for Handyman Services, which is a completely separate class code than remodeling and tile work.  Unfortunately, the insured sent his customer one page of a four page application as proof of insurance.  The...

standard practice for insurance is to provide a certificate of insurance not an application as proof of coverage.  A certificate of insurance was not requested by our customer or his customer from our company.  At any point, our insureds' customers are welcome to call us directly to check the validity of certificates and coverage. We are truly sorry that this occurred and wish we could help.  However, this incident is out of our control and scope of work.  As mentioned above, an application is not proof of insurance.  Sincerely,Commercialinsurance.NET
