We set up a service call for our customer and told him the price for the service was $119.00. He has a 4 1/2 year old system. When we got there the drain line at the laundry tub had become loose so we rescured. He says it was defective which...

it was not it just came loose maybe someone bumped it or pressure we do not know. He was told up front the fee and he does own it. Unfortunately things can happen after so many years. He had one a one year warranty on labor.

It was not properly installed to begin with.If it had been installed correctly it would have not worked its way back.Zip ties were used on the initial install,they do not grip the hose.On this recent visit they used electrical tape. If this was used on the initial install(electrical tape),we would not be having this conversation and this would not have been an issue!

Again I need to remind the customer he has only a one year warranty on labor regardless. He is three and a half years out of warranty. He owes the $119.00 service fee. It says it on his original warranty that he received at his install. I am sorry but the customer does owe the service fee. Thank you.
