Had a fire lost are home in July 2018 bought a Commodore home from Valley Homes in Bellefonte, Pa. Moved in 2 weeks before Xmas 2018.
Floors creaked sounded like horror film house took 3 calls to get fixed.
3 weeks in house started having problem with furnace 6 service calls have had no heat for a month now. Everybody keeps passing the buck, I don't know who's fault it is but I do know who's fault it's not mine. Suing Valley, Commodore, Miller Furnace, & Nortech. Using electric heaters to keep house in 50's at best in central Pa, in winter my wife and I are in are 70's she has health problems I have heart condition (3 heart surgeries) and cancer. Nobody is doing anything. Just went into master bath water all over the floor had to shut off water. Now no heat no water. You can put lipstick on a pig but when it wears of it is still a pig. Was going to cancel this piece of st should have gone with my gut feeling.
We feel like sailing in the Titanic into the mist waiting for this crap house to sink. If your looking at a Commodore Home be afraid very afraid and run don't walk away run away as fast as you can.

I am in receipt of your 8-19-14 letter regarding the above subject complaint.
Our records show the home serial number for this home is [redacted]. This home was manufactured on 6-16-04 and shipped to the dealer on 7-8-04. The records further show we serviced this home on 11-9-05. There isn’t anything on the 11-9-05 work order regarding a problem with a window.  To date we haven’t received any correspondence from this home owner regarding anything.
The warranty included with our homes is for one year.
The window manufacturer provides their own warranty coverage for their product. Regrettably, the window mfg. whose windows are in this home, went out of business 2 years ago.
Based on the information you’ve provided, and the information I have for this home, there isn’t anything I can do under our warranty coverage.
Please check with the complainant to be sure the information I have is correct.

July 10, 2015[redacted]In reply to your 6-26-15 letter regarding the above referenced home owner; we build and sell homes in 15 states under HUD and IRC specifications. Within those states is a multitude of counties, townships, and municipalities all of whom have their own rules...

and regulations. We do not know all of the regulations for all of the locations our homes are placed. Therefore we have to rely on the dealer, who purchases our homes, to know the rules, regulation and requirements of the locations the home ultimately go to. Commodore builds the home based on the dealer's order. We can only assume the dealer knows the requirements of the area the home is being sold into.In this particular case, Commodore built the home as ordered by the dealer. It is unfortunate the wrong style door was ordered. After learning of this problem on May 15th, Commodore ordered and arranged replacement of the door. When the replacement door came in a work order was assigned to a serviceman on 7-1-15 to replace it. The door was replaced on 7-6-15.If I can be of further assistace in this matter please let me know.Sincerely,[redacted]Customer Relations Manager

You may need to address commodore homes on this complaint as you know they have been responding to this complaint since July and the home was manufactured in April 2014 , also is under warranty until next year.  Before commodore responds they may want to check with [redacted] as he was just out last month and I have four witnesses to the fact that he said he would need to have the window manufacture out to look at the lg bay window and the slider. I don’t understand how a window manufacture goes out of business  10 years prior to the house being built.  I think he may have this house mixed up with another home.  I still have not been contacted about finishing the warranty work as there had to be a attic light ordered and siding.. This is why I have contacted the Revdex.com..they need to look at the serial number on the complaint.. and the name [redacted]..[redacted] delivered May, 6 2014. I spoke with [redacted] on July 1 2014 about these repairs and he is the one that claimed they hadn’t been out because there was a cabinet on order that [redacted] said he was to repair and none had been ordered for the house. [redacted] is also the one that told me I would have to accommodate there schedule to get these repairs done, they could not accommodate my schedule even though I had taken off day to get these done…  Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.  Have a wonderful day..[redacted]

I’m aware that commodore homes will need to return to complete the warranty work on my home.   Although to date I have not heard a word as to when they will be returning nor have I heard from the window manufacture as to when they will come to inspect the bay window that appears to have a broken seal allowing moisture to build up between the two panes of glass and the slider that appears to installed incorrectly  causing the frame to warp at both centers of doors. Therefore I doubt the window manufacture has even been called to come inspect these windows. As far as there service on the only thing that was done that day was [redacted] went over the list I had and install a door stop at front door, the other work that is marked off was not completed by [redacted] , my contractor installed the door casing and repaired the large hole that was cause from front door swinging open during transport and I had to have that work completed in order to receive my occupancy certificate at my expense.  Only response I receive in regards to that expense was “ sorry for your inconvience.”  Also to this day I have not received any response from the Dealer.

Review: Manufactured home was delivered with an outside entry door to utility room installed at factory incorrectly. It also constitutes a Town of Malta, NY building code violation. Door and framework were installed so door opens outward, should have been installed to open inward. This has been in violation since home was delivered in January 2015. Several calls to Commodore have resulted in promises to fix problem, but no one has fixed the problems. The door in question is a standard door, nothing fancy. The last call we were told door is on order. FOR OVER 3 MONTHS TO GET A STANDARD DOOR REPLACEMENT. Not a satisfactory answer. It seems that Commodore does not want to fix this problem. Now the Town of Malta, NY building inspector has gotten involved. He said he will take action if this is not resolved in a week from today (06/25/15). We would rather have Commodore do their job than get the Town involved.Desired Settlement: We just want to have our door and frame replaced to satisfy Town code.

Review: warranty work not being taken care of and failure to do so is causing further damage and heath issues due to possibility of mold. Causing unnecessary expenses for a/c due to incorrect installation of windows and doors. There is no quality workmanship in this house at all...Have tried to contact commodore several times to get a service date and get one excuse after another as to why they not coming out.. Dealer ([redacted] llc made remark that there is so much to be fixed that they are just putting me of and giving bogus excuses so warranty will expire and they will not have to correct their crappy work...Desired settlement: total value of all repaires not completed by them and compansation for lost wages and use of areas in home till work is completed.

Thank you
