Common Sense Beauty Reviews (3)

Aug 24, 2016 I noticed a $99.90 charge on my account. I didn't recognize the charge and immediately called my bank to report the charge and cancel my card thinking the number had been stolen. The only money I had in my account was to pay for my electric bill and that was it. A few days later I received a package in the mail from this company with 2 products in it. I was so confused, I questioned my husband but he would never spend this kind of money on skin product, he doesn't even know how to order things on the internet and has to get family to help him when he wants to surprise me with something. We then thought maybe one of our preschoolers was banging around on the key board but there was no history of us being on this companies website on my computer or my phone, and it's not possible for my kids to be able to put in my card information with exp date and [redacted] number. All this to say, we did not order this product and I would never spend that kind of money on two skin products, I don't ever wear makeup or lotion. Makes no sense. When I did finally look up [redacted] website the products sent to me are not advertised as the same price that is printed on the receipt they sent in the box to me, not to mention the containers I was sent are barely half full of whatever this stuff is. I don't see how someone would steal my card number and then send what they bought to me. The only thing I can conclude is that this business is very shady and according to other experience on here it sounds like that may be the case. My bank cancelled my card right away and already credited the money back to my account because it was still pending but I'm going to keep in contact with them and let them know what is going on. I would not suggest anyone do any kind of business with this company but here I am, didn't do business with them and still got scammed somehow. Buyer, and non buyer beware.
