I signed a contract with Keith *** dba Commonbond Construction to have the flat roof on my garage replaced for a total of $On 2/17/I gave him a deposit of $and the job was scheduled for 2/21/When he arrived, he informed me he had miscalculated materials and the job would now cost $I decided to go with another company and requested a refund of my $depositKeith said he would mail me out a check that weekI called again on 3/17/and was told he would stop by on 3/to drop off a cashier's checkWhen he did not show up, I called numerous time on 3/& 3/He is no longer answering his phone and is not returning my voice messagesI see there was a previous Revdex.com complaint for failure to return a deposit

We had Commonbond Construction replace our roof due to hail damage, that job was completed fineWe asked if they also did attic insulation, they didWe got the estimate and paid half of the amount ($850) on 5/22/We called several times to schedule the insulation installation and they were always too busyFinally, in late December 2015, he said that his crews had not returned from the holidays and that we should get someone else to do the job, he said he would return our $depositIt's been several months since then and we have not received the moneyWe've left several messages and actually received a date of Apr 9th for the return of the moneyThat date has come and gone, still no resolution
