On 5/23/I hired *** *** of Commonwealth Investigative Agency and paid him $2,to perform some routine investigative servicesI stressed to Jack that my needs were time sensitive, and he said that he would get on my case right away and that he would work on it until the job was complete He told me that the total price for his services was $2,regardless of how much work he performed or how long it took to complete the job He also stated that he felt confident that he would be able to get the information I needed
On 6/13/Jack called me and asked if I was willing to put more money into the investigation I reminded him that he had agreed to the original price of $2, Furthermore I told him that I was very disappointed in him because he hadn’t gotten me any information that I didn’t already have and that what I needed was very time sensitive I told him I didn't have any more money and that he was putting me in a very difficult positionCommonwealth Investigat

I am writing this letter in regards to complaint ***, which was filed against my Investigative Agency (Confidential Investigative Agency) by a Mr*** ** *** with your agency
Mr*** retained my Agency, on May 14, 2015, to conduct - - a surviellance investigation for one day
The fee to be paid was five hundred dollars(copy of contract enclosed)
When Mr*** arrived at my office, he paid me four hundred dollars (not five as he alledges) and at his assurances that he would pay the balance of one hundred dollars, prior to the investigation being conducted, I made Mr*** a receipt for five hundred dollarsIn hindsight this was a bad mistake however, I felt I could trust him to pay the balance, avoiding Mr*** having to make another trip to my office in Jefferson, Indiana(no good deed goes unpunished)
Several attempts to collect the hundred dollars from Mr*** met with negative results, in any event the investigation surviellance was never conducted due to nonpayment of investigative fees prior to the date the investigation was to be conducted(my agency gets paid up front in full on every investigation we conduct, and Mr*** was well aware of this.)
During telephone conversations with Mr***, I offered to refund three hundred dollars, due to work performed prior to and in preperation for the up coming investigationMr***s reply was that he was going to sue meI explained to him that it was he who had not lived up to his contractural agreement, no me
In closing, please advise Mr*** that the offer of three hundred dollars refund to settle this matter is our final offer, which is fairOtherwise, we will be willing to litigate this matter if necessaryIf Mr*** has any further questions regarding this matter I suggest he consult an attorney

I was disappointed with Mr. [redacted]’s response to the Revdex.com because he did not respond within the 10 day time period as per Revdex.com policy; he did not demonstrate a cooperative willingness to resolve a valid complaint;  and he provided false information.
In his response to the Revdex.com, Mr. [redacted] stated that I never mentioned to him that my case was time sensitive.  That statement is untrue.  I sought Mr [redacted]’s services in a child custody case.  When I met with Mr. [redacted] on 5/23/17, I provided him the case number and the court date.  I specifically remember him saying that he wished I had contacted him sooner so as to give him more time to work on the case. He definitely was told that the case was time sensitive.
Mr. [redacted] also stated that the information I provided him was totally wrong.  That also is untrue.  I provided Mr. [redacted] with the name, home address, phone number, license plate number as well as specific dates and times when the subject would be at a specific location.  All of that information was 100% accurate.
It is completely illogical to think that I would intentionally provide inaccurate information so as to undermine success with my own case.  Life experience and common sense dictate that that did not happen.
It is true that Mr. [redacted] conducted an investigation on the same subject previously, and he obtained satisfactory results.  One of the primary reasons he was able to obtain positive results was because I provided him accurate information.  I likewise provided accurate information for this investigation as well.
Eventually I was able to achieve the results I sought in my custody case, but I had to use means other than Mr. [redacted]’s agency to do so.  My success was achieved by using accurate information.
Originally my major complaint with Mr. [redacted]’s agency was that he quoted one fee at the time we signed a contract, and then he unilaterally changed the price once the case was in progress.  I feel that was unethical and not in keeping with the standards of the Revdex.com.  Furthermore I now feel that Mr. [redacted] further compromised professional ethics by ma[redacted] false statements about this case to the Revdex.com.
I am a very organized person, and I pay close attention to detail.  During this case, I kept very detailed and accurate notes of all meetings and phone calls with Mr. [redacted]. This case was very important to me, and I have acted in good faith at all times.
For all the reasons stated above, I reject Mr. [redacted]’s offer/response.

This in itself shows that his claim of my agency being unethical and unprofessional is without merit.My agency's by the job fee quotes are based on information provided by clients about the investigation they want performed. If the investigation given by a client to us is incorrect, the results of the investigation will usually result in negative results.Mr. [redacted] was advised of this when he questioned the undersigned about the request for additional fees. The information Mr. [redacted] provided my agency was totally wrong concerning the individual to be investigated and many man hours as well as mileage were devoted to determining that the information that he provided us with was wrong, and Mr. [redacted] is fully aware of this, as he was advised of the progress of the investigation on almost a daily basis by me.As for Mr. [redacted] allegations that the cause was “time sensitive', this was never at anytime mentioned to this investigator. In fact, there was no pending Court date regarding this child custody case.If it was so “time sensitive” as Mr. [redacted] alleges, why would he be so concerned about me continuing the investigation longer for the same fee if it was "time sensitive"?Had the information provided by Mr. [redacted] to us had been correct, I feel sure we would have obtained the desired results. I feel strongly we have lived up to our contractual obligation to Mr. [redacted] and are prepared to litigate this matter if necessary.Should Mr. [redacted] have any further questions, I suggest he consult an attorney.Sincerely,
