We at Coastal Bay Financial fully empathize with our client's frustration. He is correct in...

stating that communication with him has not been what it should have been. We have gone through unfortunate staffing changes and that has negatively affected this client. He should not have been made to wait for a response to his questions. We do understand that the client believes he has done all that was necessary on his part to fulfill his contract. Unfortunately, there are legal matters involved regarding the loan in question. The title that he is requesting is the object of an investigation and possible charges involving a previous employee. The client was made aware of the situation both by letter and by phone conversation with his current account manager. We have made it clear that until our case has been adjudicated, legally we cannot release the title to the dirt bike in question. While we realize that not releasing the title to his dirt bike is an inconvenience, we are bound by law to hold it as evidence. Now that current staff is in place and the case is moving forward we hope there will be a speedy conclusion to this unfortunate situation. We have informed the client that we will keep him updated as things move forward.  Please fell free to contact us with any concerns in the future and we will do our best to resolve them. Thank you.

They kept it I can say for sure this place sucks do not do business with them at all they do stand behind their work. I knew what part I needed and asked for it. What I got were steering clamps that I already have and they expect me to Pay for their mistake bs do not order anything from this place.

My experience was HORRIBLE! When I first went in I had to walk to the front counter after 30 min just to find someone to answer a few questions. That is where I found a sales representitive. She was able to answer many if not all of my questions and help me find the bike I would be happy with. She did not push me into something that I could not afford and did not suggest anything that she knew I was not interested in.
The biggest problem was the amount of time I had to wait to get my bike and the reason I was waiting. I agreed to buy a motorcycle Monday 20 Oct around 1800. I was told that there was a deal ahead of me and it would take a while so if I would like to come back the next day everything would be ready. Next day I showed up around noon and was told "the finance lady was out for the day and she is the only one who can do the paperwork" But nobody even bothered to call me and let me know. Again I was told to come back again the next day. I went straight to the [redacted] shop and tried to buy a bike from them. If it was not for the fact that I could not put money down I would be on a [redacted] and never gone back.
Day three Oct 22 I come back to sign papers and ride home... or so I thought. NONE of the paperwork was ready! At this point I am very upset. All I knew was my APR, I was never told the price of the bike or what my payments were... I was given an "around about" about how close they could get it but never final hard numbers. I was sent into the finance office expected to sign papers. I had to ask for a detailed list of numbers so I can call my wife and make sure she was ok with the purchase. This entire process took way too much time. Once everything was starting to flow a little smoother I realized that no one has said anything about the helmet they said I could have. I said "I am not signing anything else until I get my helmet" the response to that was "oh, you still wanted that?" After they made a few phone calls they went and got me the helmet. So we CONTINUE with the process. I was informed in the middle of the process that because the finance company is new they will not give me the bike until the lender pays them. At this point I am LIVID but maintain a professional demeanor. After all is said and done I walk out to my car empty handed (other than my copies of the contracts) to my car. I decide this is unfair and go back to talk to the sales manager and ask if I can at least take helmet so I feel like I accomplished something. He says "No, I am sorry man but it is the rules. But I will throw something in your way to make you happy." By him saying this I feel just a little bit better.
Day four Oct 23 I swing buy just to ask if they have heard anything. I was told "No not yet give it a few days" I get a phone call about 1600 from the finance company to verify information and was told that the money would e released and over nighted to the bike shops bank account.
Day five Oct 24 I go to the shop around 1130 to see if the funds have hit. at The boss runs up stairs and to verify and yells down "He is good to go" I am very excited because I can take my bike on a ride while I am on my lunch break. I have to wait another 45 min to get the bike "ready" It has been 5 days since I agreed to purchase the bike or 3 days since I signed papers. Why In the world is the bike not ready to go? What have these people been doing? I was told by the sales manager "If you want to you can go ahead and go back to the service department and wait for you bike" (still no mention of anything to make me feel better about all the frustrations he promised) When I go back to the service area I watch my sales representative stand by my bike for 3min on her phone doing nothing to my bike. I ask "is it ready?" She responded "No, I just found something else. Go out front I will bring it around" At this point I am like I never want to come to this place again. However there was one person who was very informational, helpful, and seemed to care. I can not remember his name but he rides a white [redacted] with [redacted] and [redacted] tires. He let me sit on his bike to feel the apes and he also spent 10-15 min helping me look up parts just to help me out.
I would love to recommend this place to a friend because the bike selection was very large, great prices, and I was able to be financed with nothing down. If I had better service, was able to ride after I signed papers, and the shop communicated with me better this would of have been 5 star review.
Oh and the older guy who rides sports bikes was very helpful in picking out a helmet... actually everyone I saw over there over the 5 days were very nice and always asked if I needed any assistance.

Review: I purchased an extended warranty from [redacted], through commonwealth motor sports. I canceled this warranty and [redacted] sent their portion to commonwealth motor sports for reimbursement. I was told b [redacted] that commonwealth motor sports has had this check since Dec 18, 2015, I have contacted the dealership over and over and over again and keep getting the same answer. " We have to wait til the owner signs off on the check". This has been going on for over a month. When I call and ask to speak to Dana in finance, she so happens not to be there. [redacted] calls 10 min after I do and she speaks with them. I did not finance my motorcycle I paid the full amount up front and including the warranty and did not need the owner to sign off on it. I have left messages, not to have a return call. I have gone to the dealership and spoken with her and she says all she is waiting on is the owner's signature. Again, still waiting. The final straw is she is lying saying she has been out for a week because of the snow. Well, It snowed here on Friday morning/afternoon and today is Tuesday and she is in the office. I spoke with her 2 weeks prior and she assured me that the owner would be in and she would have him sign off and give me a call. Now the weather that hit 2 weeks after this phone conversation is causing a delay in getting signed.Desired Settlement: Payment to be issued ASAP and for their customer satisfaction rating to go down tremendously.

Ms.[redacted],

Review: I bought a dirt bike in April 2013 I made on time payments once a month and was paid off on Feb 25 2014. I made the last payment by cashier's check. I was then asked if I wanted to wait for the title or have it mailed to me. I requested to have the title then. Then I was told that it couldnt be released because the owner was not there to sign the title. And they would mail it to me. So after a week of the dirt bike being paid in full I get a letter stating that my title was being held for legal actions against one of the employees there that was handling my load/account. Then I was told that someone would be in contact with me regarding the case and court date and was never contacted again until I called today. I was told the woman was on lunch and was asked to call me back. And after 2 hours I still was not contacted. So I then called back and was told the lady was not at work today. Then I was contacted after I called up there upset about not being contacted again for the 3rd time. And was told that title could not be released until the legal actions were over. This company needs to communicate more with the customers and inform them of the actions being taken and not left hanging and guessing on whats being done. And I shouldn't be the one having to call when they say they will contact me.Desired Settlement: I just want my title for the bike that I've paid for in full.

All I knew was my APR, I was never told the price of the bike or what my payments were... I was given an "around about" about how close they could get it but never final hard numbers.
