I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
In response to [redacted] answer to complaint, this problem is not about warranty on transmission, but how installation was performed, they wanted to replace carrier bearing with a used part for $300.00 which I had [redacted] replace carrier bearing with a brand new bearing on 12/20/14, cost of bearing was $89.90 plus $60.00 labor, far cry of $300 for a used bearing from their junk yard for which community was going to charge me. If I did not contact them about problem with axle how did they offer to repair for free, how did they know their was a problem? as I stated in original complaint I had spoken to [redacted] about problem, said [redacted] would have to contact me back which I never heard from. What this complaint is about is Installation and overcharges not warranty on transmission. This could have been a very hazardous situation, steering assembly bolts were loose, bolts on swaybar were loose, plus axle was not locked in. If axle would have been installed correctly by community I would not of had to purchase brand new axle.

Community Auto Recycling[redacted]Hi in writing in regards to a 2005 equinox transmission we installedin [redacted] truck after installing transmission we noticed his carrierbearing was bad we...

offered to replace it, he didn’t have the money to fix it atthat time. When he picked up the truck we told him it that if he drove it, itwould void the warranty on the transmission he understood that and signedoff on the warranty and then drove it out of here. We did offer to fix theaxle for free but he bad aiready had it done, he didn’t even call us first totake a look at it and see what was wrong. Furthermore our company hasnever offered a 90 day wananty we only offer a 30 day 1000 mile warrantywhichever comes first.Thank You[redacted] [redacted]Owner

Review: I purchased a used hood for my car from this business on December 16th. When I picked up the hood, I questioned the salesman on what looked like bondo and previous poorly done body work on the item. He denied that the hood was filled in with bondo, claiming that the items had simply been scuff sanded to remove paint bubbles. The next day when I took the hood to the mechanic to have it put on the car, the mechanic questioned the same area of issue that I had, and after further inspection, the spot fell in and revealed that it was in fact bondo. I called the business, who then informed me of their policy of no cash returns. This salesman lied to sell an item at an unreasonable price for the condition of the product. He also failed to inform me that this item was not returnable after having found the condition not as described.Desired Settlement: I simply want a refund on the item. The salesman blatantly lied about the condition and failed to inform me of the no-refund policy. Had I been aware of this policy I would not have purchased the item to begin with. The man should have been honest about the condition of what he was selling instead of taking advantage of someone he apparently viewed as ignorant.

Hi im writing in regards to a hood bought by [redacted] for hiscar. When he came for the hood he inspected it and seen it wasn't in the bestof shape so we discounted the price to 75.00 dollars. Our salesmen here donot force customers to buy pads, ny body parts are left up to the customersdecision on whether they want it or not. The customer took the hood at hisown discretion not ours and he did infact get the hood for 75.00 not theoriginal 125.00 that he was previously quoted do to the imperfections on thehood, he looked it over and then made the decision to buy it at a discountedprice.

Review: I purchased a transmission from Community Auto Recycling on 03/05/15. It had a 30 day warranty. the transmission died on Easter Sunday, 04/05/15 at 7:00pm. I had a professional mechanic look at it Monday, 04/06/15. I then notified Community Auto Recycling. I spoke with [redacted] first, then a couple of other fellows in the course of a week. Finally they directed me to [redacted], who said he didn't have another transmission to replace the bad one they sold me, but if I was patient, he would make it right. I then called numerous times to speak with [redacted], but was always put on hold for 20 to 40 minutes. Today when I called, [redacted] stated they were NOT going to honer the warranty, and hung up on me. I have written documentation of when the transmission died.Desired Settlement: I would like a transmission, for my truck, that works.

Review: Had a windshield replaced....took vehicle in 9am never got a call all day to be told it was done. Started calling at 445pm to see if vehicle was done no one answered. Drove down to the yard by 507pm. My vehicle was repaired but locked in the gated area. Called owner had son meet me there....paid ! Got in vehicle to leave and notice a crack in the new repaired windshield. Got out told the kid he haggled a bit then called his father. Father tried working out a deal, eventually said come back we will replace it. Took it back got it replaced again. Waited 3 days took vehicle through automatic car wash and my window leaked through the seam like Niagara Falls. Call told the owner he said bring it in...we will fix it. Took the vehicle back next day looked at my windshield and its CRACKED AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM PASSENGER SIDE CORNER. THEY REFUSED TO REPLACE IT. THE OWNERS SON CALLED MY GIRLFRIEND A "BROAD" ÀND THE SECOND TIME HE TOLD ME I WAS "WHACKED" TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL BOTH TIMES I WAS DEALT WITH.Desired Settlement: First I would like my window replaced the correct way. And I would like a refund if possible. Mostly just a replacement. And I lost 2 days wages from work due to this issue !

Review: 2005 chevy equinox had bad transmission, I called community auto for replacement transmission talked to [redacted] on or about 12/6/14, he said they have a transmission that will fit my equinox, price that I was quoted by [redacted] over phone was 200.00 for transmission plus 90 day warranty, and 300.00 to install. Had vehicle towed to community on 12/8/14 to have them remove old trans and install the trans they had. Went to pick up vehicle on 12/13/14 and price was 200.00 for transmission and 450.00 to install, but was noted "no warranty needs carrier bearing" Since trans was already installed I had no choice but to pay bill. Drove vehicle for about 20 miles trans felt like brakes were applied. replaced carrier bearing and all universal joints plus cv on driveshaft, still drove the same. After further inspection I noticed left axelshaft was not locked in transmission, and trans seal was missing. pulled axelshaft out and because axel was not properly installed and locked in trans the gear on shaft was destroyed. I bought new axel & seal and installed and added transmission fluid, vehicle runs fine.Contacted community about problem, talked to [redacted], said [redacted] would contact me back, never heard from [redacted].Desired Settlement: What I want is reimbursed for [1]axelshaft @ $59.99 plus $3.60 tax [2]axel seal $19.05 plus $1.15 tax [3]1.5 hr. labor @ 60.00 per hr. [4] 2 quarts of transmission fluid @ $8.99 each. Have all receipts. Also refund for overcharge from original quote of $300.00 to install. Had no choice but to pay $450.00 for installation
