I was quoted a price for an oil change from Gladis at Community Chevrolet in Burbank. I had an appointment to see her but the company had sent her out to drive some customers around. In any case, I met with Sam there and he proceeded to hand me an invoice for $125. I told him that was not the price that was agreed to. He tried to tell me that the original quote was wrong and tried to get me to pay the $125. I angrily left and told him that the "bait and switch" routine is not a good look for a car dealership. I did speak to management at the dealership and they did admit to the two different prices. We never came to a resolution, however. This "bait and switch" tactic is not ethical or professional. I am lucky that I caught this error otherwise they would have stuck me with the bill.
