Response: On 10-14-15 we signed a contract with [redacted]. Install was complete by 11-2-15. Had customer complaint and owner of The Floor Store inspected floor in the beginning of Jan 2016. Owner agree to replace the floor with a superior wood product to the customers liking on 3-33-16. The Floor...

Store installed new floor the last week of April. The General Manager called Jenna [redacted] on 4-29-16 to confirm she was satisfied with the floor, Jenna said she was happy. Due to a trim piece that wasn't installed on the 2nd install the Floor Store sent another crew out to finish trim and touch up on 5-10-16. On 5-31-16 the Floor Store received a message from [redacted] about a splinter in her floor. Due to an email issue the owner did not respond.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.There was no email issue as I called and spoke with owner directly and texted him pictures to his direct cell phone number.  The owner and I never once exchanged emails and the Floor Store has all of my information to contact through other means.  I never received a response from the owner after my initial call from my 5/31/16 report of a new splinter which prompted me to look into hiring a lawyer.  I know they received the concerns about the new floor installed 2016 as they did respond to an email inquiry from an attorney that offered to help me and noted in the email to the attorney that the splinter was due to the "very nature of the floor I picked" which was the rustic look.  Per my original statement in the first complaint, had I known that the "rustic" look would splinter and crack, I would have never picked the floor.  At this point, I did not proceed with litigation as it would have cost more than the floor did and I am looking for some type of refund since the floor continues to splinter and is certainly not the product I expected for the amount of money I spent.

Response: The customer won't let us back in to fix the problem. The client called us with a complaint. The owner went to job site and agreed to fix anything we wanted. Client proceeded to tell us that we could not have a chance to fix anything. We would love to come and fix anything he wants but...
