This organization manages Perfection Park Senior Apartments in Belmont, NC I am years old and have lived in multiple apartments in different states I have never seen such poor quality construction, particularly for relatively recent completion (2002), I alone have had a cracked shower floor, which was never fixed properly, heating and air conditioning unit as well as disposal failure, which needed replacement, peeling paint in the bathroom, and multiple toilet repairsThe worst was a termite infestation on Saturday, March 12, I killed the termites myself, but called the maintenance line to have the situation checked out I did not talk to anyone, so left a voice mail message I never heard back, so the next time the property manager, Sue Miller, was available, was on Tuesday, March 15, I told her I had not heard from anyone, at which point she said she called backI told her that I had not heard, at which point she became confrontational, said a termite infestation was not an emergency, and that if I did not hear back, I lacked common sense to not call againThe exchange became heated, I said I would have to move out, at which point she said she "didn't care if I moved out tomorrow!" I searched and found another apartment weeks later with a move in date of May 6, I gave written notice, at which point she responded in writing with correspondence saying the apartment was to be treated for termites, even though they had not returned, and wood where they were had been removed by maintenance, and presented a list of apartment preparation demands to receive my security deposit, far in excess of any requirements I had ever seen, including for much nicer apartmentsThe exterminator arrived, drilled holes not only in the concrete outside, but in the flooring inside the apartmentFurther, he left a really bad messI called the extermination company the next day, saying I needed a cleanupThe person who did the job, showed up at the office, saying Perfection Park, not he, would clean upThis was confirmed by Sue MillerI said if this was not taken care of quickly, I would take further action That was cleaned up by the maintenance person, but the wood was never replaced I cleaned the apartment to a high standard, but not to the demands made absurd by the awful condition of the apartment I left a note when I left, stating that I would no longer seek the deposit, but that I would address the situation another way, which is this message I moved out, but there are people left behind who are still victims of the building quality and unacceptable behavior of the property manager

This organization manages Perfection Park Senior Apartments in Belmont, NC 28012. I am 65 years old and have lived in multiple apartments in different states. I have never seen such poor quality construction, particularly for relatively recent completion (2002), I alone have had a cracked shower floor, which was never fixed properly, heating and air conditioning unit as well as disposal failure, which needed replacement, peeling paint in the bathroom, and multiple toilet repairs. The worst was a termite infestation on Saturday, March 12, 2016. I killed the termites myself, but called the maintenance line to have the situation checked out. I did not talk to anyone, so left a voice mail message. I never heard back, so the next time the property manager, Sue Miller, was available, was on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. I told her I had not heard from anyone, at which point she said she called back. I told her that I had not heard, at which point she became confrontational, said a termite infestation was not an emergency, and that if I did not hear back, I lacked common sense to not call again. The exchange became heated, I said I would have to move out, at which point she said she "didn't care if I moved out tomorrow!" I searched and found another apartment 3 weeks later with a move in date of May 6, 2016. I gave written notice, at which point she responded in writing with correspondence saying the apartment was to be treated for termites, even though they had not returned, and wood where they were had been removed by maintenance, and presented a list of apartment preparation demands to receive my security deposit, far in excess of any requirements I had ever seen, including for much nicer apartments. The exterminator arrived, drilled holes not only in the concrete outside, but in the flooring inside the apartment. Further, he left a really bad mess. I called the extermination company the next day, saying I needed a cleanup. The person who did the job, showed up at the office, saying Perfection Park, not he, would clean up. This was confirmed by Sue Miller. I said if this was not taken care of quickly, I would take further action. That was cleaned up by the maintenance person, but the wood was never replaced. I cleaned the apartment to a high standard, but not to the demands made absurd by the awful condition of the apartment. I left a note when I left, stating that I would no longer seek the deposit, but that I would address the situation another way, which is this message. I moved out, but there are people left behind who are still victims of the building quality and unacceptable behavior of the property manager.
