I had an appointment today at Community Medical Group in Westchester office on 1631 S.W 107th Ave. When I finally got in to see the doctor, he asked a few questions, then opened this make shift curtain an explained he wanted me to undress completely and put on the gown. So as he left the room I'm looking around, first the garbage were the dirty gowns, gloves and so forth goes was completely over flowing. Then I noticed the instruments that are used for the pap smear weren't in packaging but, they had several of them staked together laying on the instrument tray. My first mind said that's not supposed to be like that. Then, one Ind said tale pictures but, I didn't an I regret that. So I went ahead an allowed him to do my pap against my thinking of this place. He told me if the dont call that means everything is ok. An that if everything is okay I didnt need another pap for 5years and that they changed the every year. So after leaving I made a call to United Healthcare Insurance to complain. Then I called the health dept. were I explained my concerns. It had been a year since my last pap but, I'm thinking maybe things changed on how they keep the instruments. The young lady I spoke with advised me to go on line to file a complaint. PEOPLE PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AND THERE PRACTICES.
