the business and services directory that is incorporated into the websites of ForestGroveNewsTimes.com and all of our sister publications in the Pamplin Media GroupOn Aug27, OwnLocal received Mr***’ request to verify that he is an authorized representative of his business and to change information in his basic business listingVerification requests are normally forwarded to a manager in our central office so that we can personally determine the authenticity of requests made through the online portal, and to contact the business, if necessaryWe did not immediately receive Mr***’ verification request, and so there was a delayMr*** is not a customer of our business and so does not have an opportunity for regular contact with our staffForest Grove News-Times was not aware of the issue until we received the complaint from Revdex.com, and we contacted our vendor the same day to address his request that we add a website link and Facebook widget His updated listing can be viewed at http://local.portlandmetro.pamplinmedia.com/forest-grove-or/shopping/musical-ins...⇄ encourage Mr*** to take advantage of the features on our website; we hope he finds them useful tools that promote local business and encourage our online users to spend their money in support of Forest Grove businesses like his.
