The inspection report was sent to the client as well a link to dropbox for the pictures. I also sent a refund to the client for the cost of the inspection

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. If the business fails to follow through with its prescribed resolution
I will contact the Revdex.com to take further action.

satisfactory to me if I do actually receive the refund. I assume a check will be mailed to me as I originally paid by check. The business did not clarify this.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The inspector stated that he is not responsible of missing important component during his inspection as they are maintenance and cosmetic issues? so how come he did not see something as visible as these defects which he calls cosmetic and why he did not disclose them?First of all, the problem with the porch is not cosmetic and per experts opinion needed to be fixed and I have fixed it with a receipt available if needed (after negotiation and with only a temporary repair, it did cost me 1600 $). second, the purpose of an inspection is to identify such issues (even if they are cosmetic, which it is not the case here) so the seller would fix them prior to the sale and it would not be a burden to the buyer. You have included in your report that you have inspected the porch but you did not identify this major defect and even though you included 60 pics of the house but not a single one of them showed the defect of the porch or the ceiling. Missing major visible defects by what suppose to be an expert in the field is either related to negligence or incompetence.

I will have a painter contact the owner and make the necessary repairs.
