Community West Bank

Review: As an owner of a condo at 2030 State, my escrow documents state that I have a right to view the bank statements of our association. I was elected Board Member of this association. Our Treasurer, does not have access to any bank accounts of the Association. I have asked our property manager, Bartlein & Co. for the account number and signees for the Via Capri Aire Association Reserve Fund. He has not provided a copy. I went to the bank where the funds are held, Community West Bank. Robert Bartlein is a founding member of the Bank and on the board. I believe that Bartlein & Company commingles our account with other properties and receives a higher interest rate than he provides our association. He is using our money to make money. He did provide an account number for a much smaller account, but the majority of the account, $249,770 is hidden and is unavailable for use by the Association.Desired Settlement: I request a visual inspection of the bank statements for the last two years for the Reserve Fund for Via Capri Aire Association, estimated amount $249,770.
